Today we're using L'Or Absolu coffee blend, from French France, as the Lady Jay would say.

I’ve been very ill since last weekend, but a little better today, I think. Typical me on my 3rd comp idea. Typical again, couldn’t make sex fit in first 2.

So tired of hearing about them but I guess it's the closest your country comes to having a royal wedding. Well, unless Barron Trump gets hitched. I'm sure his dad would treat it like one given his proclivity to monarchical behaviour. I thought it was interesting that it was on Travis and Jason's podcast, of all places, that Prince William said he would come over if England made the final in the World Cup. We've already done better than ever before in the men's World Cup (our women have done better, though) by making it this far.

Oh wow, Morocco lost a star forward. Hamstring. And one of their defenders got a yellow. Morocco having a bad day is one of our victory conditions. 😀

1-0 Morocco in the second half. Looks like the expected outcome but there is still time. And the ref has been handing out yellow cards like a businessman handing out business cards at a convention. Not sure if that's a measure of the play or a measure of the ref.

Sigh. 3-0. But given we had never won a match or made it out of the group stage before, this has been a great World Cup for us Canucks. 2 wins and made it to the Round of 16.

Sorry about Team Canada. As Ape pointed out, it was a historic run. And they played an amazing first half. Hopefully they can build on this and make a deeper run in a future World Cup.

After cleaning up Store Room #4 (glares at Kimmi, wonders about Kat's involvement), Jay and I had a friendly gathering of our Tai Chi group here yesterday at Casa Oso. Very nice – but had to clean up after that, too!

Needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), Bear and Lady Jay retired early last night!

Oh well – it's Moan-Day so get over it.
