Loved those bartender jokes and plan to share them with others. I had lunch with a friend yesterday (who happens to be a married gay man) and we were celebrating the blue wave, but also contemplating what needs to happen for REAL change to occur. So, let’s send these new senators and governors on their way after sharing drinks with them and hope that the universe guides them in meaningful ways.

And now I find out that the vocalist used to live here in London, Ontario. She studied voice at the local university's music faculty. Cool. I have known a few grads of that program back when I was running worship at a local church that hired students from the program to play for services.

I rarely recommend other authors' stories, however, as she is currently enjoying Disneyland! So, she is unlikely to read this! 🙄😉 Do give Kat's latest story a read. Here is the link: A Rush of Gold

It is a Recommended Read, and deservedly so. Take note of the words she uses to create old-fashioned realism. 😀

I will also go as far as saying it is one of her best stories she has ever written. My opinion. 😇😈
