Actually I would prefer name calling over having dialog with person who has no manners. I just went through few threads and some people just gone bad, bad behavior is what I meant.
Talking to others with no respect, in every bodies business and everything behind hypocrite smile or just plane rude.

It's not very good light for the site, actually it would turn me away from it, if I wouldn't be 'an oldie' here and have some other interests.

If you want to have a private conversation do it somewhere else. Totally agree, however, not all of us hijackers can get together for said private conversation at the same time. I do enjoy the banter between posters and unless the original post is boring or just downright stupid, it usually gets back on track

I think what shadowcat is saying is that there is a time and place for everything and have to agree with her to some extent. As much as I love to see the humor in the forums, I also like to see respect given to the original poster and to the topic, especially when it is, say, a personal question in the relationship section etc. Not every topic has to be 'fun'.

what is irritating to me is the disgusting insults .... a few members here are wonderful at their "veiled" insults ... and a few are obvious with their poison darts tossed in for good measure.

it has been said NUMEROUS times around Lush over the last 3 years ......... it's an adult site, and not everyone is going to get along. But, come on .... some nasty members just don't give up.

those nasty members, repeated derail a topic .... nothing wrong with a topic "evolving" ... but completely wrong when you see shit flying against other members

why don't the forum mods stop that shit flying?
can forum mods give members a little vacation away from posting on the forums?
if not, why not?
maybe something that Gav can figure out to relieve the stressor from some nasty members posting

I was just wondering, whilst I have seen some outright nastiness on here, sometimes obvious insults to some aren't obvious to others. A lot can depend on the history of the people and personal background/dug-up issues. On the fishing forums I go on, there is a report button by each post, and whilst it can create a lot of work for mods when people start throwing their poor wikkle teddies out of the pram and then screaming to have them back, it can also mean an active "He said... she said" way of defusing a situation. In my opinion, it's far better to try and resolve things without slinging mud back in public than having a slag-off live and rapid where the rest of us can get out the popcorn and have a good giggle. Although some might count that part of the Drunken Knickers-in-a-twist Slanging Match Weekend Experience like the fisherfolk do.

Another plus is that mods have lives too (apparently - they sometimes go to the bathroom, I hear), and they can't always see things right when we wish they could. The "Report Post" function creates an alert which they see when they log in and can deal with it as soon as possible, whether it be locking, moving, deleting or a puiblic word of peacemaking.

I can't actually see such a function here (might mean I'm being dizzy and it is there but I haven't noticed it), but if there are issues with certain posts, perhaps that could be something one might suggest in the Suggestion/Site Feedback area if it's not there already?

How embarrassing for you yahtzee/vangogh/personalassistant. I don't think it's necessary for you to take a vacation from Lush due to your "veiled" and not so veiled insults. I don't think they are disgusting, and calling yourself nasty isn't exactly correct.

Are you begging the powers-that-be to suspend certain members because you don't like what they have to say? Really?

I looked at your forum posting history and I see nothing of substance. No new thoughts added to any topic, nothing funny, nothing interesting. Nothing... Nothing but these kind of posts like this one. Maybe if you had something to say other then whining when someone says something to you after you continue to prod them then the moderators might take your suggestion of banning people more seriously. I don't really know how they make those kind of decisions but I doubt they make them when a member like yourself begs for them to do so in a public forum because it has probably fallen on deaf ears, right?

I'm in the minority with my circle of friends but I like Gin Martinis more than Vodka ones. My friends say they taste like pine-sol but I'm not in agreement. They are good on the rocks on a hot day too and you also avoid chugging it like I often do when it's in a martini glass. I swear those glasses are the most ridiculous things ever invented. So impractical and guys look kinda funny holding them. I know I do. Plus the way they are shaped makes me drink the fucking thing in like three "sips".

Martinis are great drinks to buy a girl if you want to get her drunk, if you're 'drinking-while-standing' in a bar. The shape forces you to drink half the glass immediately in order to avoid spillage due to random elbow bumps or movement. If you've got a vanilla-vodka/soda sipper (usually packed with ice), you're in for a looong night and an endless bar tab.
