Finally it was above freezing today, the groundhog saw his shadow, and we are bracing for another snow storm Tuesday.

We have had a snow cover since Christmas and I have cross country skied just about every day.
So 6 more weeks of winter omg I don't know if I can take much more of the gray days.
I'm glad you like the snow Pam.

Hey, there are only like 48 days left till spring...I can't wait cause I hate every snowflake that falls from the sky. Forget playing in it, I just want it to go away. I can burn off the winter chubs once the temp gets back up over 40...It will be even better when the temp gets back to 80. I want the sweltering heat and the sunshine. I wanna run around bare foot without a coat. I wanna lay in my back yard naked and soak up the sun....
Birdie you should move to FL then you could do that about year round.
Susan, it is my dream goal to move to Florida. It just takes more money than I have to get there and get all my junk there along with me. LOL

Good lord!! 7 days without power! That storm knocked out town on its knees! And there are still people without power! This was terrible! We finally broke down and bought a generator yesterday (couldnt miss the superbowl) and got out power back today around 5. Civilization!! Finally! LOL

I guess this global warming has effected London they receives 6" of snow fall yesterday with another 6" forecasted

This volume of snow fall is very unusual. London has no snow plows and very little equipment to remove it. The city is crippled
Pam is right global warning will affect us all and in our life time. We will see this thing happening more and more. We will see snow fall in places where they don't get snow. We will see cold places warm to a point where thing will grow that are not to be there.
For those in London hang in there, we are thinking of you.

Yes, we had a fireplace and were lucky to get some wood before the storm hit. As far as food, we ate alot of sandwiches and hubbs has a grill with a burner on it. Boiled water for cup o noodles. Never care to eat either again! LOL

Walmart 20 bucks 2 burner camping propane stove. Cheap yes when power goes out priceless. smile
After the hurricanes of '04 we invested in quite a bit of equipment like that.

It was 24 in sunny FL this morning.

Gonna cut glass with yer nips.
That's the whole "point" Rocco. (Ok bad pun) But I am using the power of positive thought so the sun will come back and warm us all up.
45 F. and sunny, almost mid-February. I was able to go for a jog today. I hope the trend continues right up till April!

Global Warming my @&&. It is plain and simple weather. We are 20 degrees cooler than the earths historic high averages. We are getting global dimming from jet aircraft.
As far as loosing power during a storm, Buy a generator. Have one, never without creature comforts.
