Pixie that tree is a Cercis Canadensis or common name Eastern Redbud and that particular tree is what I think is the prettiest variety called Forest Pansey which has purple leaves that fade to purple green later in the season but the new growth is always dark maroon purple. The leaves are very attractive heart shaped and the fall color is yellow. I'll keep posting pics here as things grow and bloom I have a ton of stuff.

Love the garden, and what a supprise, rabbits hidden around the garden! LOL
Your Red Bud looks great, it appears you’re a little ahead us, on my Japanese maple the buds are starting to open... It won't be long now!!
Thank you for brightening up the day!

You just can’t beat a nice garden. I myself was out early this morning and picked a few daffodils….I’ve given them pride of place, they are so gorgeous. I think I’ve managed to keep the lavender at bay for the time being. It was starting to get very fragrant and giving off a sensory explosion every time I walked past.

How do you talk to an Angel available from Amazon.

Not sure if they are the same thing that I am talking about then. The tree's that I see don't have heart shaped leaves. I think the tree's that I am seeing are Dogwoods. But then again, what do I know? lol

He's looking a little stoned.

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.

Bunny, this must take hours a day- but some nice flowers and plants for sure. Must smell great too.
Bunny thanks for posting all these pics. I love gardens. These are great.
Its so nice to see the flowers!!!!
Hey, Bunny....the 6th pic up from the bottom....what are those? I have some in our back yard. They climb on our fence and look really cool. Are they easy to transplant?

Pixie that's Japanese Honeysuckle Vine or Lonicera x brownii 'Dropmore Scarlet'. Be warned that many types of honeysuckle vine are highly invasive weeds but this variety Dropmore Scarlet is NOT is very slow growing and stays rather small as vines go being mature at about 6 to 8 feet tall and wide. The one in the picture is over 10 years old and has never made seed or crept anywhere else. It blooms all season from spring to frost and should transplant easily in early spring when semi dormant. Make sure when ever you transplant anything you harshly cut back the top growth to compensate for the root cutting when transplanting.
