A best place is a place where with friends or by yourself, it is the place where you can truly relax and be yourself. I found the term in a manga (japanese comic)

Mine is this bench under a tree in a nearby park, where I can just relax and pretend that I'm in my own world, and just listen to the sounds of nature.

What's your best place?
in my garden...with my mp3 player on in the early hours in the morning...looking up at the stars...all alone...just enjoying a ciggarette and a beer and indulging in the peace contemplating the beauty of the universe
my most favourite & best place in Vancouver ... Spanish Banks. From infant to now and beyond. A place to be alone, with loved ones, to read, swim, gaze and dream; whether it be morning, afternoon or late at night. I have even visited on lone birthdays and Christmases.

Many moons ago, this is where I told someone, I love you ..... and just thinking of that day, makes my heart swell ....

this is my place I call heaven in Vancouver ...

I think my best place would have to be Niagara Falls. Last year the street I lived on went right down to the falls, and whenever I needed to clear my head I would go down there and just watch the water rushing over the falls. In the winter the falls are really beautiful, and there are a lot less people around too.
My favourite place is the small mountain range in our town. I love climbing to the top, standing at the lookout and feeling the breeze swirl around me while I take in the view.
On a beach at the Dunes with a good book. With the sunshine on my back. Or being at home watching a movie with my step son.
"Haters make me FAMOUS!!!"

Sassy
Doing Bikram Yoga where the room is heated to around 105 degrees.

It's such an incredible experience of mind/body and always has the ability to centre me and pull me down into my deepest core as a living, breathing entity.

Afterwards, I always feel so much more peaceful, and yet so much more alive as well!
I grew up on the beach and would often walk the jetty to the end and lay there and decompress. The feeling of being out in the middle of the water, lying on my back and gazing up at the sky is life at it's finest peek for me.
My best place would be.....to be with her......location doesn't matter..... so long as she is there......
Rubber Ducky your the one, you make my life so much fun
In bed with my Tech Goddess. No more roles to play. Just ourselves.
At the beach on our friends rest house. It's been a tradition to us to go there during summer. Perfect place to be in, house located at the mountains with few neighbors and a 10 minutes walk to the beach. lovely
My best place is not too far from home. I love the peace and tranquillity of the open hills surrounding my town and my perfect companion would be my man.
Doing one of 2 things first in the summer hottest days of the year and most humid on my bicycle going to one of my favorite parks or just a very hard ride I find I can clear my head that way

Second and my favorite thing to do is to just hang out with my girlfriend talking with her for long hours her sweet voice relaxes me.
Walking alone on the beach with the wind in my hair and the waves lapping inches from my feet. My thoughts are that of being at peace within myself….no more pushing to the limits.

*The Dark Room*

How do you talk to an Angel available from Amazon.
I'm blessed in having my place literally on my back patio. Whether it be listening to the mischevious kiskadees or the tree frogs, my home is a tree-surrounded oasis blessed with clear, smog free skies, and gentle breezes. The challenge is to actually get the solitude my minds needs to unwind.
"Whoa, lady, I only speak two languages, English and bad English." - Korben Dallas, from The Fifth Element

"If history repeats itself, and the unexpected always happens, how incapable must man be of learning from experience?" - George Bernard Shaw
in my bed, in chocolate sheets and lots of soft pillows...the most comfortable place in the world!!!
On the seafront of my home town of Bexhill, just standing there at High tide in bad weather, raining with the sea crashing against the store. Invigorating and relaxing
I have many, many best place's!
It all depends on where I'm at. I even have best place's in Detroit, Nevada, Texas, Canada, Southern Ohio, and pretty much any where I've ever been.
If I don't, It's usually the first thing I establish when visiting a new realm.
My best place at home is the river,(secluded at that) 300 yards from my back door!
JAMAICA! When I'm anywhere in Jamaica I'm home! Won't see home till Dec 2011

I have another place but since it's a 12-16 hour flight away I'm there once every 2 years

It's a beach which looks out onto Table Mountain in Cape Town...I haven't really been home until I can sit down and feel that sand between my toes

Ocean Beach, in San Francisco is my best place. This pic is probably taken from Golden Gate Park, but I remember when we would go to the beach that is shown below. We would take the bus to the BART station, which is the train system in the Bay Area, and the BART would take us to San Francisco, then we would take another bus, and the whole time you just can't wait to see the ocean and be on the beach finally. Then, after about an hour of travel you step off the bus. We would eat at this little diner if I didn't drive my dad too crazy to hurry up and get to the beach, then we would spend a few hours just hanging around, splashing and watching the waves. Sometimes it was really foggy and I think I liked those days the best because the sea was so mysterious. It's not like most beaches you imagine when you think about beaches. It's never hot, and usually it's kind of chilly, and it's not all tropical, but it always made me happy to make that trip to Ocean Beach.
