Out of all those emotions, experiences with others and general feelings of today, my word of the day is:

Histrionics

his·tri·on·ics
–noun (used with a singular or plural verb)

1. dramatic representation; theatricals; acting.
2. behavior or speech for effect, as insincere or exaggerated expression of an emotion; dramatics; operatics: Cut out the histrionics—we know you're not really mad.

Some people

What's yours?
My word of the day is:

Enthrall

en·thrall
en·thral \in-ˈthrȯl, en-\
transitive verb
1 : to hold in or reduce to slavery
2 : to hold spellbound : charm

"Love all, trust a few, and do wrong to none."
My word of the day is:

scrivello

an elephant's tusk

As in, it felt as big as a scrivello inside her, and she bellowed like an elephant for joy.

or

"My God", she gushed, admiring his muscular cock, a veritable scrivello of phallic triumph.
Um, ASP, dear.......I dont think ANY woman would want to hear that "she bellowed like an elephant for joy". Seriously! Otherwise she just may be "admiring his muscular cock" for ways to make it dissapear!
♥ Listen, touch, and look around in the air and on the ground. If you watch all nature's things, you might just see a fairy's wings. ♥
I would quite agree, which is why I reserve such absurdities for the forum. And I should have said "trumpeted for joy". It's a much grander, more majestic description than "bellowed".

I defer to your reasoning, sincerely wishing we would not become...oppugnant in our behavior.

oppugnant - opposing in a hostile manner; combative.

(See--It's two-fer--I just gave you two words)

or how about... sun - the star that is the center of attraction and the main source of radiant energy in the solar system.

In a sentence: That one is the sun! The yellow one is the sun!" (I'd better leave before I get kicked out)

Strangely I understood all that......lol......
"Love all, trust a few, and do wrong to none."
Strangely? Strangely?
uh oh. that's scary
Strangely? Scary?
Had never heard of oppugnant before. I learnt something new today.

lmfao at scrivello.

Can I have a phrase?

Delirium tremens

Delirium tremens is a severe form of alcohol withdrawal that involves sudden and severe mental or neurological changes.

Delirium tremens can occur after a period of heavy alcohol drinking, especially when the person does not eat enough food.

It is most common in people who have a history of alcohol withdrawal. It is especially common in those who drink the equivalent of 7 - 8 pints of beer (or 1 pint of "hard" alcohol) every day for several months. Delirium tremens also commonly affects those who have had a history of habitual alcohol use or alcoholism for more than 10 years.

Damn I hate the shakes but I've been off it for over a week now, yay for me
Yes. Yay for you!

My word of the day is

PANACEA

A universal remedy

Not to be confused with Panarear which is for the benefit of 2 people only, and a remedy that provides for only the two of them
concupiscence \kon-KYOO-puh-suhn(t)s; kuhn-\, noun:
Strong desire, especially sexual desire; lust.

Concupiscence is from Late Latin concupiscentia, from the present participle of Latin concupiscere, "to desire eagerly," from com-, intensive prefix + cupere, "to desire." The adjective form is concupiscent. The name of the ancient Roman god of love, Cupid, comes from the same root.

Certainly

{CON KEW pi since}

Means LUST or DESIRE

Sentence:

The soul of a man is often dominated by concupiscence of the flesh.

Just FYI...the Presbyterian Church considers it a sin and the Catholic Church considers it a possible antecedent to sin. (but what do they know?) I consider it just a part of my nature...

How many months off do you have Tech? You must be twiddling your thumbs with all that free time. Something tells me you'll be kept busy one way or other

It's roughly 3 months...but I actually do some work during the summer too. I seem to be the one to take care of things for my group because of my tech-savvy nature.

There are those who are going to be tempted to say, "Three months off? Must be NICE to be a teacher not having to work the whole summer!" Yes, it is nice, but it's a necessary break to save one's sanity. I spend 40 weeks of my life every year with 12 year olds..need I say more?

PS....and yes, I do find other activities to keep me from needing to twiddle my thumbs...
