I am thinking if I hadn't known I have a half-brother 6 years ago, could we end up like this given a chance that we cross our paths?

Things are case to case basis I guess. But it is really possible that one day you'll just find out the truth yourself and feel shattered. It is like everyone betrayed and lied to you. At least that's how I felt when my parents' told me at the age of 14 that my dad have a son with someone else. And his mom died and he's going to live with us. All my life, growing up as an only child. Yes! My reactions were childish!

Couldn't this couple take a look at each others background first? meet their families? Now-a-days people isn't really considering this much. Call me old-fashioned but I still let my boyfriend meet my family first before anything. And I am the type of girl whom you let your parents meet first too, so all is fair. It is just me, I guess.

But the hell with everyone, when you fall in love, you fall in love. no one's stopping you. smile

I was about to have a nerd rage post, but then I read SST's post and realized..meh..she's right.
Definitely a plot-line for a movie on the 'Lifetime' channel.
