I have gone against a doc's advice because he was wrong. I don't pay any attention to investment advisor's I just do my own thing. (Newsflash: most "advisors" are just salespeople who give advice that makes them money not you.)

No. Wouldn't necessarily be a deal breaker if I did. Most of us have a past in one way or another. (For the record, my past doesn't include a criminal record though I did spend about a half hour in a cell once which was definitely long enough for me to know I have ZERO interest in that lol)
