Have you ever confused a fat woman with a pregnant one?

A question to everyone, males and females alike (maybe we need an ask random dumb questions to everyone section?).

I tried to give up my seat on the bus the other day to this fatty I thought was pregnant, and she took offence and walked off. I guess she was just fat after all.

Any similar awkward moments for anyone here? evil5

Well perhaps next time just offer your seat for a "lady". Although if she didn't appreciate your seat, then maybe she's no lady.

I was brought up that way, not just giving up a seat for the elderly, but for women in general, preggers or not. And I'll do it again. Some people in their 60's even take offence.

Maybe in future I should first ask them if they are a) over 70 b) pregnant c) would actually like to sit down regardless of their situation? Ah sod it, I'll just drive in in future.

Ok I once borrowed this shirt from my best friend, I thought it was super cute! I was at work the next day, and I went to bend over to pick up a box and this lady says to me "you shouldnt be lifting in your condition". I looked at her like she was nuts and I told her I was fine. Come to find out, the shirt was a MATERNITY shirt!! Made me look preggo I guess! LOL

Wow that was bad plow......some woman just get easy offended......you still continue being a gentlemen.....LOL!

*On a side note: Ever confuse a man for being a pregnant woman?......yeah that's my department....LOL!
