Oberon I meant it is what I know a windows PC I wasn't trying to stir up any prejudice about either one I thought the original joke was funny that I posted. You are going to get different opinions about them no matter where you go some people really love them I understand that they are just not my thing I hope you took no offense to it. But I have come across some MAC users that are "smug" about them they just don't want to know anything about PCs or other alternatives out there. It falls under the thing of branding take cars you have die hard Ford guys like me that wouldn't tough a Chevy not that there aren't nice ones out there they just aren't my brand same thing with computers PCs are what I know.

I've been treated like a Leper in some Mac stores because I dared to ask if Macbooks came in a colour other than white (this was a couple of years ago).
My friend - who used to help me with my PC - loved nothing more than 'souping' up his PC, adding newer sound cards, video cards,
RAM etc. He loved it. I used to think that 50 years ago he would have been the guy with his head under the hood of a hot-rod.
I just didn't know what I was doing and it drove me crazy.

Apologies Oberon, I didn't mean you're smug in any way.
I have several friends who have macs, and they love them. One of them though is one of those chest beating mac fanatics who drives me insane with his told you so attitude.

That's exactly what I like about the PCs I am a tinkerer and a hot rodder I am one of those guys too still learning but I enjoy making things go faster and you can't do that easily with a mac like a pc. But as I said I was not trying to offend anyone

I had a problem with downloading my 'Trend Mirco Internet Security' for 2009. It locked me out of a game I have played for 8 years. Trends on-line help tried for hours to fix it. We shut off everything - one at a time. Nothing worked. Finally, they said to un-install 2009 and 2008 and re-install 2008.
It worked. But it has a Pain to do.
Till I get an answer back from Trends, I will not install the 2009 version, just pay to keep the updates going.
