The new teacher.

Johnny's class got a new teacher, on the Friday he was introduced to the class and told them his name was Francis, but everyone called him Franny. He would ask the class on Monday if they could remember his name, and the first one to get it right would get a prize.

Johnny had'nt heard the name before, but thought it was like fanny, but with an R in it.

All weekend Johnny kept repeating to himself; Fanny with an R, Fanny with an R, Fanny with an R.

All the way to school on Monday he muttered; Fanny with an R, Fanny with an R, Fanny with an R.

All through registration he muttered; Fanny with an R, Fanny with an R, Fanny with an R.

Finally the new teacher asked if anyone could remember his name. Johhny's hand was easily the first one up.

"OK Johnny," Franny said, "What is it?"

And Johnny called out;
