I was talking about soundtracks today and what it led me to was the film Bullitt starring the King of Cool, Steve McQueen. To be honest I can't remember any songs from this film except for the car chase through the streets of San Francisco. Lots of action films use fantastic songs for their car chases and often choreograph the chase to suit the song.
Why does Bullitt stand out, simply because the soundtrack is the V8 engine of the Ford Mustang!
