... said it was too hot here for him. At 8:46 PM, it's a cool 102°F (38.8°C), 18% humidity (down from the 68% humidity we had this morning), clear skies, calm, wind SE 8 MPH. Our low is expect to hit a chilly 85°F (29.4°C). Tomorrow the high should be 108°F (42.2°C). To say my AC runs 24/7 is not a joke or an understatement. We haven't had a day without triple digits in over three weeks. 
The local news said June here was the hottest on record.

I cannot believe I'm saying this... but it's only 93 here... WTF? It's not blistering hot... but our humidity is 20%. I do see rain clouds on the horizon in every direction I look so maybe... just maybe... we'll get some rain. Sadly... it will be warm rain. Oh well... can't have it all.

It's the price I pay for coming here two years ago for a full-time teaching job. I won't lie... there are more pros than cons... though the heat is a major con. Thank you for the lovely picture of the cool water... yes... we could fry eggs on the sidewalks and asphalt as it was so hot. Lots of reminders about not walking dogs on that stuff (burning their feet and such.) Even the "cold" water from the tap wasn't all that cold... luke warm at best.
