Just a quick question ...
I have published quite a few stories, on here, and also through other sites.
But, recently I have been finding it difficult to manage my time and get my head into writing (although the ideas are still free throwing)
So, basically I wondered, how do the writers here keep the creative juices flowing?
What strategies to get started when you have a little free time?
How do you maximize a 60 minute writing slot?
Any advice, tips, guidance and experiences appreciated!

Well, there are techniques to maximize effort. One is to take one 60 minute slot (if that's what you have) and write your story as it unfolds in your mind. Second 60 minute slot, you re-read and fine tune your story/edit for mistakes. Third 60 minutes slot goes back and re-reads for the flow and style, catch and change any cliches or over-used words. How to get the juices flowing again? Read other people's stories and see what's going on, what you like and don't like and incorporate YOUR ideas with theirs to make something new and yours.
p.s. I personally don't use these techniques. I write as it comes to me and am usually satisfied with the results.
