So I was wondering if anyone has been having trouble with this. I've been trying to submit a new story for a while now, when I get everything put in and click continue It takes me to a page notifying me that an error has occurred and an email has been sent to lush to look into it. Its been doing this for about a week, maybe a little longer, I've heard nothing back from Lush, I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had trouble with this kind of thing?

I'm not aware of any issues. Dont suppose you are copying and pasting your story from Word?
Gav's our resident code-jedi. If there's an issue, he'll be able to help figure it out. Sometimes, the reason he asked, our submissions page doesn't like people pasting from Word.

I'm absolutely pasting from word. I've pasted all my stories from word, though and never had a problem before this one. Do most people type the stories in that little window? That seems so strange to me. Any advice on how to get around this?

Try pasting it using Ctrl+Shift+V instead of Ctrl+V - this way, any fancy, invisible formatting should be left behind. If that doesn't work, copying it into notepad first, then selecting everything again and copying from there to the Lush editor may be worth a try too. You'll have to re-apply any italics in the Lush editor though.
Typically, if you're using word and have this issue, hit the "clean word format" before submitting. It's the little W in the blue bar above the submission area.
Thanks guys. You were all very helpful. Now that you've pointed it out, it usually pops up with a box asking if i want to clean the word format automatically. I never knew what it meant so I didn't notice that it hadn't this time. Again, thank you all so much!
