First off, I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, I did do a forum search but came up with nothing. Anyway, down to brass tacks. I wanted to record audio for one of my stories that has previously been published here and publish it as an audio story as well as a text story and just wanted to know if it was possible to do so and how one would go about doing this. Thanks in advance people.
I should clarify this: essentially I want to resubmit an already published story as an audio story and just wondering if I can and how do I do this? Do I edit it and resubmit?

I recently asked this question on the Blue site! Apparently, you need to contact somebody like Nicola or Gav and send them the file (mp3). Then they can fiddle with their knobs (ahem) and attach it. Or something like that. I'm sure if you use the Contact Us thingy, somebody will take pity on you.

And me? I have to get a mic to stick in my wotsit before I can send mine.

Hope that helps!

That helps enormously, thanks. Now for a bit of jiggery-pokery with a mic and some voice recording software. Seems like the Contact Us thing is the goto step for technical related shenanigans, I'll bear that in mind.
I was sure we had a how-to guide around here.

If you're on a pc, have a look on this site - all versions of windows have inbuilt software for voice recording: http://www.wikihow.com/Record-Your-Voice-on-a-Windows-Computer

You need to email it to Gav (gav@ our domain name) as an mp3 once you're happy with it. Please edit the final file if need be, we don't have the facilities or time to clean up audio files I'm afraid.

Looking forward to this one!
If your want to record with a little more control, I would recommend Audacity, a free program for both Windows and Mac.
Cheers all, I'm pretty confident that I know what I'm doing now. Audacity, I love that program, it's so much fun!
