Long time reader and lurker, just signed up because I'm hoping to get some knowledge and feedback from you guys.

I want to pay it forward a little bit, so here it is: I'm active duty military, and I've noticed that that in most fiction, and erotica in particular, authors aren't terribly well-researched about it. It's erotica, it's not Tom Clancy realism and that's fine, but if you want your facts straight about military culture, terminology, whatever - I might be able to help. I'm most knowledgeable about my own branch, but I've trained and worked with all four. My military career hasn't been very long, but I have perspective from both the enlisted and officer side of things. I also have the female perspective, for whatever that's worth.

So if you're working on something about people in uniform, or ex-military, or whatever - and there's something you need to know, I'm here for you. You can hit me up PM, here, whatever. Standing offer.

Just throwing it out there. (I think this is the right section to post this in. If not, don't beat me up. The UCMJ discourages it.)

edit: American. American military. Murica. Should've mentioned that.
Hi KB. Great idea and thanks for offering to share your knowledge. hopefully, people take advantage of this. most of us only have movies to rely on for stuff like this. and yes, this is the perfect place to post this. smile

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

Thanks KissyBoots. That's a great and very valuable resource offer. It's also very kind and considerate of you. A salute to you. Thanks.
I actually have a story on tap where the military comes into play. If I have any questions while writing I will send you a PM.
