WARNING: This post is off-topic.

Can't you see the irony in the fact that, with your multiple complaints about "mod-praising" and people "hijacking" your thread with "off-topic" posts, you have actually taken this thread more off-topic than anyone else.

I actually don't know what you want people to post now, or why you continue to post. As I said already, there's nothing left to say that is on-topic. You asked a question, you got a clear answer. What do you want?

I want to you to apologize for hijacking my thread and posting off topic verses and praises in dedicating of mods, turning it into something else. Then I want you to stop posting on my thread and I also want you stop posting off topic things in mine or anybody else's thread for the further future, ever.

No.

EDIT: I'll elaborate on that response.

No, I will not apologise for any of those things, because I did none of those things. I answered your question to the best of my ability. I then also responded to follow-up posts of yours which were only tentatively related (if at all) to your original question.

Also, it would be paradoxical to make a post promising not to make "off-topic" posts in "your" thread or any other thread. Likewise, I worry that if I did apologise, you would then complain that I was going off-topic again.

DON'T USE FUCKING COLONS TO PUNCTUATE YOUR DIALOGUE. IT IS NOT PERMISSIBLE HERE.

I don't know what you have read before on other thread, but I have never made any complaints in my thread. All I have asked for a simple info on writing style, because I thought that maybe the other writing styles are also permitted.

You have made plenty of complains, whining, trying to guilt someone out and so on..
All you have asked is all you have got the very clear answer in first, second third and so on reply, you just don't want to hear and accept those answers. It is not my or any of other people who enterd this thread problem, but yours. You have issues that people (read moderators) need to deal with.

Quote by asklan
The complaining thing started when other mods came in and hijacked the thread, and started posting off topic things, verses praising and dedicating mods for no reason. It was never the requirement of the thread. It was never asked and it was never needed.

No the complaining thing started when you got the answer you don't like, and as I said before you wanted to change that answer your way with complaining, whining,...
Praising for no reason? please. Get yourself off crying tree and talk with mods as adult. YOu asked very specific question that moderators are most qualified to answer you, when they did, you begun with your drama. Please stop it is not edible, at all.

Quote by asklan
You just look at my first post and then tell me. What it has got to do with posting versed and praises dedicating to mods?
Even the writer's resource has got nothing to do with posting verses and praises dedicating to mods. It is to help writers and when you go there you see rules and then all you see are verses and praises dedicating to mods. The real questions are somewhere at the back. Then you makes mistakes and get your story rejected.

Jealousy much? You are repeating and wasting so many words repeating the same thing. Just because you think you will repeat one thing many times, that doesn't make it truth nor it will become truth. Relax man, all is good. I am sure your story will get published after you tide it up to match Lush standards. And when I say standards I don't say they are good or bad, they just are. Nothing will make founder of the site to change her mind in this thread, nothing ever can be accomplished with whining, complaining and attempts to guilt someone out, so please stop.

Quote by asklan
I know I can't change forum rules, but, atleast, I am entitled to see, that the thread which I have started won't go off topic.

You just take your own example, because this thread have been hijacked by mods and they have posted off topic things turning it into some sort of their own wider discussion thing. This doing of mod has made you read like as if I have posted this thread for complaining the writing style.

Again, read what I wrote so far so I don't need to repeat myself so much as you do.
Imagine table with 10 people sitting. drinking, eating..Yes? Now, you asked question for and the rest of your 9 friends gave you answer...aaand conversation goes elsewhere, someone add something and we are communicating. How long do you want to talk about one question that was answered in one minute?

Quote by asklan
This is what happens when your thread gets hijacked, this is what happen when people starts posting off topic.

This is what I was trying to prevent when mods has started accusing me and bulling me. Even mocked at me.

Just stop saying these things, please, you don't look good. At all.

Quote by asklan
I know Mods volunteer their time, but that doesn't means that mods can go around posting verses and praises dedicating to mods everywhere on the site. Specially not in the place where it is not even the requirement. Mods could just start a special thread to serve their purpose of posting verses and praises dedicating to mods and they could post it there all the time.

The same as previous statement.

Quote by asklan
Atleast, for a little decency, mod should let alone and leave out the other people's thread from posting off topic things and turning it into something else from it original meaning. Then calling it a developed for wider discussion. Which it isn't cause its purely hijacking and purely bulling and its wrong.

It is the complaint. Writing rules are never the complain.

What kind of decency did you show to mods?? And you request one? You will get exatly what you'll give. Again, it was mods responsibility to answer your question.
You and only you are turning this thread into something that looks so sad. Please don't do that to yourself anymore, it is not appealing at all. Mods are here to help us, they have rules to fallow as we do, come down from crying tree and deal with it.

I will not reply to you any more, I have no patience to go with you in the circle about the same thing. And I assume you will want just that. Nothing will change just because you demand it so. Accept that.

Yes, hijacking somebody's thread is decent. Posting things what not required is helping. Making mess out of somebody's thread and than hold the same person responsible is accommodating, bulling somebody is very understanding.......very much like Mods.

Now my thread is turned into mods praising and dedicating playground . I think Mods are happy now

(very accommodating, very understanding, very qualified, very dedicating, very helping)

Just for moment, atleast, see what I have asked in the thread and what mods have made it.............

Oh, I read "panties" there for a moment and thought you might have special ones for dinner, kind of a uniform. I'm sure they'd be quite distracting, in a very good way. *grabs the plot bunny by the ear and drags it after her* Shoo, kittens, hop outside, I need that basket!

Moderators AND NON-MODS tried to explain the issue!

And it's 'BULLYING'!!!!!!!!

(Except in this case it isn't...)

Look, all joking aside...

It's a GREAT site.

Be a part of it.

You ARE welcome and you WILL be supported in your Art and personally.

I want you to apologize for making a mockery of what this team does. Your behavior is nothing short of manipulative. People tried to reason with you. They tried to give you acceptable answers. You would not have any of it.

Furthermore, you've gone on to accuse people of bullying and hijacking your thread. The ironic thing is, prior to you making several accusations of bullying and hijacking, your thread did not veer off topic. Even if there was 'mod praising' it was intermingled with relevant advice about your question.

Instead of heeding the advice you've received, you've ignored it by trying to play the victim card and manipulate people into apologizing to you. Anything to avoid improving your writing, which is really sad. Lush has much to offer in that regard, and it's a sad day when someone would rather ignore and complain about guidelines instead of working to improve their craft.

I find your acts of manipulation and general bad-mouthing quite loathsome. You're the true bully.

Oh? I was under the impression dinner panties was code for none, so I quite left them off. oops
I would like ASKLAN to stay with us.

13 posts in is VERY newbie and we HAVE a way of doing things here BUT we are not unreasonable as a group of readers/writers/artists...

Although I THINK Asklan may have gotten off on the wrong foot, it's clear he/she is passionate and serious about their art and THAT I respect.

I'd like YOU, Asklan, to give us a little more of your talent, your time and your effort...

My respect.

Dinner is on the plate, dessert is in my panties.

Rather than go off topic, though, I'd like to respond to the original post.

I also know that it is not any fast and hard thumb rule to use the above as exact. Writers may adopt for their choice of style, but if anybody could please tell me whether the latter two styles are accepted on Lush stories. I would really appreciate it.

It's supposed to be "on" the plate, not "in" the plate. Why don't you lie down across my lap while we discuss this and get the dessert to the right temperature?

A quick glance into Ruthie's Great Big Book of Writing Right shows that you are correct. Imagine my embarrassment. It won't be put right until my butt is as red as my cheeks. So as to stay on topic, however, please lecture me on dialogue formatting while blistering my backside.

Just read this whole thing. It is hilarious. This started out about punctuation and degenerated into personalities. Actually I learned a lot. Not to use a colon in dialogue. But what I really learned is that people's egos are as fragile as porcelain china and being right is more important than being correct. Loved Sprite's basket of kittens. Haha

asklan, i think now is perfect time to ask moderators to help you out with your writing, they are here having fun and i am sure they will help, if you will ask nicely and somehow elaborate your confusion. asking the same question over and over and expecting different answers it is not the way. mods are not mind readers, you have to know what you need first.

Ahh, that's the correct attitude. You don't mind if I flip up your skirt while everyone watches, do you? Well, it's too late anyhow!

"This is how you punctuate dialogue," I tell you, slapping my hand down hard on your left bum cheek and enjoying how the clap resonates in the open room. "We always use commas." Another slap hits your right cheek. I hear you gasp, almost whimper, "Ow, ow, ow!" It's such a delicious sound that I can't help myself and give each cheek another quick, stinging slap. I squeeze one pert cheek tightly and lean forward, whispering in your ear, "No colon!" Another swat, and I can feel the heat explode under my fingers. The sweetest little whimpers of protest fill the air, and I hit faster, telling you, "No! Colon! To! Introduce! Direct! Speech!" I intersperse each word with another small explosion on your wiggling backside, giving the last two more weight by striking the soft area between your thighs and bottom, and your legs kick out against air.

Rubbing in soft circles over your two glowing half-orbs, I gently ask, "Was that enough blistering?"
