Resubmitting combined stories after a rewrite and what to do with the old ones.

I took two of my stories and combined them into one longer story. What should I do with the existing stories on my profile page? Should I hide them, delete them, or just leave them, this course of action doesn't seem like the best. A little help on this would by great.

Do you mean you're uploading a previously published story again, but in 1 part rather than 2?

Yes, I'm combining both parts to make one larger story, plus editing the story to improve the story's content. It will be republished as a single new story.

If it were me, I would have improved the story content and edited it in the first place.

No, I'm only joking. I'm okay at writing, it's my story content that's shit. I cannot write erotica for the life of me.

I'm writing a story at the moment, and it's 5000 words long and all character development and plot so far. I just can't crack on with a sex scene. I've given up now anyway.

Yeah Buz, it would replace the two previous stories with a longer better written combined story. The two original stories never got much interest anyhow. My descriptive skills have improved ten fold and a more recognized writer suggested combining and reposting the stories as one.

Personal opinion: I think you should hide or otherwise save your original two stories for your own personal use just in case you'd like to re-rework them or need them for further inspiration, but go with your new and improved version that you've created by combining them as far as public display goes.

Then perhaps you could give me some tips on picking up Sandy. Have you got her number? Does she go for guys that fix cars?

I tinkered about with a car once. I got underneath it and undid the sump plug. I got a faceful of used engine oil. It was awful, but I wouldn't mind doing it again for Sandy.
