Suggest Story Length?

So, I'm slaving away on my very first Lush Story. My fingers are down to little, bony nubbs, and I'm up to about 1,800 words. The story feels about half done. There is a time break, then a part two follow up. Is that about the length people are looking for--3,000-4,000 words? In story terms, we have a setup and one sexual escapade. Part two is the next related sexcapade. That second story should also run about 3,000-4,000 words.

I'm feeling a bit shy about offering up my first story, so I would appreciate your comments. Thanks.

3-4 k is probably a good choice, imo.

You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

I don't mind a long read as long as it's interesting and well written.

If it's short then make it spicy. Let the story be playful and then hit us w/ the next chapter.
