Hey everyone I just wanted to mention a resource that has helped me tremendously with my proofreading and editing as I am terrible at it. It's a website/program called Natural Reader. Basically its a program that allows you to upload any word document and it will read it back. So its a text to speech program and this helps me tremendously because my brain doesn't read what I write even if I read it aloud. I always read what I know i wanted to write in my head and not necessarily what I actually wrote. With this program I'm able to hear my mistakes and edit the word document as it reads it for me. It's a free download but they do offer special features with advanced packages. Heres the web link http://www.naturalreaders.com/index.html. I just wanted to introduce this resource for people who have a hard time proofing their own work like I do.
That sounds like a very useful tool.

Maybe the title of this thread should be changed to something like "A useful tool for proofreading" so that it doesn't get ignored by people thinking it's just another request for an editor
