Wow, that's quite a mood painting you've made.
Alas, I can't fib. The process is much more mechanical and businesslike for me. Usually if a scene can't flow for me, it's because I'm struggling with the characters' motivations. The thought process is, for instance, "Right now, they're on a dinner date. I need them to wind up at his place with his cock in her mouth. How can I get them from point A to point B in a believable way? I mean, he can't just ask her to pop by his house and blow him... Hmm..." Because to me, what separates "porn" from "storytelling" is how many of your readers scoff at what your characters do on their way to getting naked.
I guess for me, the process itself is more work than play.
What IS fun for me is dreaming up the scenarios. And, later, when it's finished, re-reading my work brings the image back to my head of the scenario... And that's nice too.
i sit by my computer in my pants and browse the net for some saucy pictures that will spark my sexual imagination.
my girldfriend laughs at me because of it. but she loves the end result as much as my fans.
I tend to have flashes of inspiration and just write whatever comes into my head, whenever. I've always got something that I can write my thoughts down on, so if something strikes me, I jot it down and save it for the 'main event', the main event is when I actually sit down, naked of course, at either my PC or laptop, whatever is on at the time or whatever I have the story saved on and write the story. I draw inspiration from everything, even mundane things. Heck, I wrote a few stories when I was chatting to people about completely mundane things like grocery shopping and that kinda thing. I do enjoy getting drunk and writing. I find the alcohol helps lower inhibitions (of which I have very few at the best of times but when drunk I seem to have none). Almost forgot: I need music to help me concentrate but because I mostly write during the night, I have to listen on headphones, which can be a bit of a bother because I don't like the thought that my clacking on the keys might wake people up (I tend to get excited when I'm writing something good, the more excited I get, the faster and louder I clack).
I often write the basic story in my head as I'm going about my daily business, often while driving. That's when I get the highest level of arousal from what I write. Then, when I can work on the laptop, I recall my thoughts, but not perfectly, and I write fresh stuff into the story also. Once I have the basic story down, I think about what I've written while going about my daily business and I think of enhancements and embellishments. When I can get back on the laptop again, I again recall my thoughts. By the time I feel a story is ready for publishing, I might have washed through it 6 times or more.
Nothing come's close to the mind for that
One of My best sources for story ideas an motivation is My tumblr blog. I go through some of the pics that I get there and something will jump out and create a story idea around it. A pic, say of a woman putting on heels, or of a girl leaning into a car window will spark an idea for a story. After that My twisted mind gets hold of it and off I go! LOL!
