I understand how free members can't upload and use the site resources.

But now I can't delete pics, albums, or even friends.

How does this make sense?

I do not believe the restrictions you refer to are intentional. They are very likely side issues arising from the significant coding work that has been done for the changes that took effect 1st/4th July. I will pm Nicola/Gav to bring your thread/post to their attention. smile

I'm afraid this is my mistake, one which I cannot fix right away.

When I implemented the restrictions for paid versus free membership, I made the mistake of blocking actions for things that you currently have. For example, rather than let you manage images you have previously uploaded I made the whole image gallery page blocked.

The problem is I am over half way through a migration to a new database API which has touched 60% of the code. I am not in a position to make a fix for this easily.

This will one of the first things I fix when the code is ready for release.
