I can't get pass the iodine smell and the peat taste of some scotch from "Isle" like Talisker to name one.
There are also some Irish whiskeys like that too Connemara is one, if you like that taste try it.
I like the some of the spicy tones on the back of the tongue, but I prefer scotch that hasn't been filtered through dirt... It's a bit too earthy for my palate.
