NO, it doesn't bother me a bit. Like mentioned above .. if it bothers you, just answer the question or topic of the thread and carry on.
If you notice .. the people in this thread that don't mind, also have the ability to see humor, and or just get what's going on or being said.
It's all in fun ... even when it seems "heated".

When the thread gets certain members posting ... notice the audience at the bottom of the page. They are there because they are interested ... intrigued ... wanting to know what's gonna happen next. They won't even post, but they will be there for every last remark.
If someone thinks it's negative .. it's like publicity .. (any publicity is good publicity) for something like this.

Also, when someone says a certain person is "driving members or potential members" away due to the "banter" in threads ...
My goodness, they have to be kidding. That doesn't drive anyone away. One needs to look a bit deeper then that.

If they go away, it's more due to their own inability to chill out or go with the flow. Hey, they also have the option of moving on to another thread. Or, just answering the original topic.

Submitting a few poems and having people vote/comment (without asking them to).
How comfortable people make you feel.
Being so connected to people via the site.
Having relationships I value.
Sharing personal experiences, without feeling like I'll be judged.
The ability to interact with Nicola or Gav so easily (approachable).
Finding myself wanting to write something more.
Meeting some really decent people (you know who you are).
This site attributing to better relations outside of Lush.

I've gotten a shiver listening to a phenomenal voice, piece of music, certain scenes in movies (not from being so much scared, since I don't find too many movies scary). When someone is describing an injury. That shiver sometimes shoots up my body. An emotional person ... quite a few things.
