When I tink the questions are reasonable, I do.
When which one of you tinks?

Ukraine wouldn't be in the position they are currently in, to permissible win the war by outlasted Russua, if it wasn't for a massive infusion of NATO support.
This war could break Putin's stranglehold on Russia. Hopefully it does, and hopefully a true democratic Russia would rise.
But if l could tell the future l'd be the world's richest person.
Bud Light's strength is that it is a cheap and weaker tasting beer. It has a lot if competition in that category. Taking a high profile political stance will always create controversy and possibly lose sales in a nation where the two major sides are so equally matched in size. And where there are only two real political parties, and they are hopelessly divided with a gulf between them.
The conservatives reaction is really not different to liberals reaction to Hobby Lobby and Chick-fil-A. The difference is that Hobby Lobby and especially Chik-fil-A had and have stronger brand loyalty with their customers. They both have made their policies known since their inception.
Many companies do extensive marketing study before attempting any possible controversial political stance. They answer to their stockholders, who can make or break them.

It's Danish, not Dutch: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Little_Mermaid
Danish always makes me think of a pastry. Dutch always makes me think of a date where both people pay their own way .

... chuckling ... With major corporations having departed from or downsized their office space in San Francisco (e.g. Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Oracle, Uber, Airbnb, Digital Reality, Salesforce, Yelp, Twitter), and the discounting of the San Francisco property market documented in this thread, that city certainly does not need the tax revenues from yet another business.
With those particular scumbag corporations leaving, it might make San Fran a more decent place to live. Of course, l,ll help any corporation find a new home when they pay me a helluva lot of cash. 🍺
A whole helluva a lot of lies.
Mexico will still not pay for The Wall.
Trump's effiminate butt will get larger.
He'll defend his dick size from the podium... again!
He'll commit more crimes!
He still won't pay his taxes.
He'll still be Putin's sock puppet.
He may put tariffs on NATO countries at his daddy Putin's request.
He'll probably put tariffs back on China causing more inflation.
To win the election he'd have to successfilly steal it.
He'd use his presidency to gerrymander and rig future elections.
He'll accidently grab a copy of Huckleberry Finn and wave it at the media, thinking it's a Bible. He's never read either one.
He'll make the USA the absolute laughing stock of the world.
He'll continue to spray tan and dye his hair that twists around his bald head.
He'll croak from a heart attack while attempting to have sex with a way overpaid washed up, fake tittied pornstar in bed at at Camp David.

Politicians do it too. Here is one replying to himself before switching accounts...
Funny, since that happens here on Lush in The Think Tank. 🤣
The guilty knows who they are. Actually, it's not a they. It's one person. And easy to guess who.
So, why is it nearly always conservatives that do that, and generally, easily out themselves?
Maybe stupidity is contagious in that group.

I doubt that was phrased as a question on the poll.
And why wasn't it? Was it a contrived poll, like most of them?
How about Chester the Molester, ie. the red squeegee headed tax cheating, lying, China-bank account holding, in love with a communist dictator, and Putin's lap dog, that is the GOP front runner right now?

That future is not inevitable. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” Attributed to Edmund Burke
Well I guess a few good men and women ARE trying to do good by trying to put Putin's sock puppet, that draft-dodging, tax-cheating, woman-assaulting, liar, wannabe vote-slealer, Donald Trump in jail.

After Westfield Mall’s parent company said on 12-JUN-23 it would relinquish management of the downtown San Francisco shopping center, Cinemark is permanently closing its movie theater located within the mall.
Did you just crawl out from under a rock? Movie theaters have been slowly declining for years. With streaming and on demand new release rentals on your home large-screen HDTVs, people can watch movies at home. Yes, all while eating more reasonably priced popcorns, drinking cold beer. Pausing the movie to go pee, etc. Yeah, bringing up a theater closing is really a lame point.
I'm sure you were disappointed when they started making talking movies, and eventually movies in color. Weren't the black and white silent movies from back in the day for you?

Republican like to blame Democrats whenever the economy isn't perfect but the truth is that the poorest places in America are ran by Republicans and their economic policies.
The ten poorest states, by poverty rate, are :
1. Mississippi–18.70%
2. Louisiana–17.80%
3. New Mexico–16.80%
4. West Virginia–15.80%
5. Arkansas–15.20%
6. Alabama–14.90%
7. Kentucky–14.90%
8. Oklahoma–14%
9. Georgia–14.00%
10. South Carolina–13.80%https://wisevoter.com/state-rankings/poorest-states/
List of poorest counties below.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lowest-income_counties_in_the_United_States
And unfortunately, this data breaks down by race. Affirmative Action was supposed to improve this racial divide. But SCOTUS has ruled that out, guaranteeing counties and cities where minority races are the majority stay poor with less progress.
Most of the above listed states have a much higher percentage of African-American citizens, who, unfortunately, are suffering the most from poverty and have the poorest school districts.
In the USA, local cities and counties provide the most of the local school budget. Wealthy counties and cities in the above states may actually have great public schools and a high standard of living, while the next county over from them, ridden in poverty, will have a very poor performing school system. Affirmative Action was maybe the best factor in improving the racial educational gap. SCOTUS destroyed that.

When the shit starts hitting the fan...the prosecution of all of the fake electors from all those 'swing states' is going to be remembered as the scheme which doomed the Jan 6th conspirators.

The fake electors scheme was 'a straightforward crime'.

Former Trump campaign official is now cooperating with Jack Smith's investigations into election interference
I sure hope those traitorous fake electors will finally see prison time.
Nearly all the current nation's on earth are on land that stronger tribes of people conquered/stole from other tribes. The Native Americans fought wars over land and territory before the Europeans arrived.
The Cherokee Nation land in the southeast had recently been conquered from the Creek Nation. They fought several bloody battles and The Cherokee came out on top.
Ultimately, The Cherokee lost their new territory to the white Europeans with whom they greatly intermingled and eventually lost their land via The US Supreme Court.
I enjoy shooting fireworks, but it is very dangerous where homes are close together and it is densely populated.
It's best to go out into some acreage you yourself own or have explicit permission to use, have a big party with friends, and blow up some serious fireworks loud enough for them to hear in town, but not endangering them. Leave some big ass holes in the ground!

That entire document is a laundry list of butt hurt and whinging. Again, control freaks like these people AND those backing them up - wish to control what private companies do with their websites.
I see the organizers of The Great Barrington Declaration didn't bother to create their own website until October of 2022. If it was so important to them to spread their bullshit [ They are proponents of Herd Immunity ] - why did they wait two years to purchase a domain name and then develop a website where they can definitely control the content being spewed from it.
An actual judge, practicing real jurisprudence would've have tossed this horseshit into the ditch where it belongs.
It seems like Fascism is working hard to gain control of the internet.
Unfortunately, the masses just want to be entertained or spoon fed propaganda and are too uneducated to understand the concepts of Fascism vs Freedom of Speech and Freedom of the Press.
I don't know. But the colony of Georgia was founded as a buffer colony to protect Britain's valuable Carolina colonies from the Spanish in Florida. And the Brits decided to let families and all, wasting away as slave laborers in British debtor prisons get out and sail to Georgia to settle the colony.
At first slavery was illegal in the colony of Georgia until it was decided slave labor would be more profitable, helping traders and wholesalers in Britain and a few big new landowner colonists get rich.
I don't know of anything Christian or even religious being a reason for Georgia being created. And as for independence from Britain, it was for local control of economics and to keep British soldiers from stealing and occupying people's homes. Nothing about Christianity or any religion. There was a lot of Tories here until the Americans won. It was very 50-50 pro-crown and pro-independence. Then the Tories packed up and sailed off. I'm pretty sure the pro-indepence folks would've killed off the Tories if they stuck around. A lot of un-Christian and inhumane things happened during the Revolution. There was a lot of blood revenge to be dished out.
Why do these two far rightwing Republican Representatives, who are fundamentally the same politically, hate each other's guts and constantly attack and insult each other?
Also, politics doesn't seem to have fit well into their marriages. Marjorie Taylor Greene and her husband recently divorced, and Lauren Boebert has recently separated from her husband.
Obviously Boebert is kind of pretty while Greene is as ugly as a horse's butt.
They've both been QAnon followers and both kiss Trump's ass. But damn, they seem to want to claw each other's eyes out. Thoughts?
