Still think the banner on the front page that features members or highlights comps should also be a place to feature a randomly picked EP or RR story. Have it cycle like it does now but just add a story pick to the mix. Would be a good way to actually recommend a good story to new visitors on the front page. You could even have it feature the last winner of a comp or something like that too.

I am a senior story mod. We routinely do little edits to help out authors rather than reject their story. If we do send it back, there are too many edits for us to do. And quite frankly, on average, we do far more to help out authors than is required of us. Please take the notes we send back on returned stories and improve in the areas we mention. If you do that you will most likely get your stories verified on the first round in the future. And follow our rules, no underage, no , no , no harsh violence, and always allow for full consent by all parties in a sexual situation.
On RRs. There is accountability to our fellow story moderators on giving an RR. None of us does that lightly, and we get very excited when a member gets their first RR. Getting an RR is up to you. If you write a really great story – grammar, storyline, character development, word flow, sentence structure and entertainment and intrigue are factors that make a story great. Is the story believable? Does it grip the reader? Is the story intelligent? Does an excellent plot with deep characters result in a crescendo of great sex – believable sex? If you want Recommended Reads then impress us with your writing.

I have a mutual appreciation for both big or small tits. Seriously, you can only get so much into your mouth at a time. But when it comes to ass, my choice narrows to one special look the most, that really gets me going. My wife has that ass. She can twist it just right too. Perhaps Lush could accept and have a special category for stories littered with mistakes. But then again, I'm probably just talking bollocks as usual.
Lushstories is a site where those talented writers who lack the grammatical skills can learn and grow. We are a site for amateur writers. Story submissions do not have to be perfect, but the verifiers are here to at least make them meet a minimum standard before being published. Many writers improve dramatically in all phases while some just seem to tread water. We do our best to push them forward.

It is very exciting when those people show improvement in their grammatical level to the point that it enhances their creative ability.

Even if a beautiful woman was on the other side of that hole, it wouldn't appeal to me. I would want to see her. Plus from what I've heard most glory holes are for bi and gay men and it's probably a man on the other side. I am totally straight so that isn't my cup of tea. But for the people that do enjoy them, go ahead, everyone should be entitled to their sex play no matter their orientation as long as all participants are eager and willing.

If you only go by set formulas are you really a creative writer? Why can't sex help develop the characters? It all depends upon whether you have the knowledge and the ability to make it work. But I would advise that you not attempt it until you've developed a certain level of skill.
Writing is an art and should not always be limited to a cookie cutter template.
As far as how much sex, that can widely vary. The story can be great and have very little sex, but on an erotic story site, it should have sexual tension. Many of the best stories on this site do have lots of explicit sex though.
I once went out on a limb and wrote my longest Lush story that is mostly sex, vivid rough sex that goes on and on. The story did have character development and a storyline that led into the sex. I had no idea how it would be received. I worried it would be a big failure. It quickly became a Famous Story and was awarded an Editor's Pick yellow ribbon. So once you have written several stories and had some degree of success, why not get creative? If it doesn't work, you will have learned from your mistakes and can grow from there.

My wife and I love strip clubs. We have several other couples that are our best friends/hang out buddies and we often go to strip clubs together.
