Now, let's get this Sunday started before y'all need to get off to Church and get all holy (guffaws at the thought…).

More like hole-y…

Now, let's get things started. Tea Kettle has been rinsed, refilled, and is bubbling away. The usual selection of fine teas, including the seemingly inevitably gerbil teas are available, and sachets of Swiss Miss hot chocolate with the now-standard fresh box of mini-marshmallows!

Somehow we seem to be going through more marshmallows than coffee! I'd start charging for them except I know there'd be a palace revolt, and my head would wind up on a pike!

I'm sad to say we've finally run out of Snoot Punch – our latest and gravest homebrew yet. The Revenuers came and snaffled the lot, claiming that the proof level was too high. I thought that was the point, right?

And now – drumroll, please: it's Big Bertha time!

I've removed yesterday's sludge, and kept it for Carl (as always), rinsed her out, refilled her with the finest Lake Ontario tap water, and reassembled her.

And because it's Sunday, let's go for something more mellow – lovely Kona coffee for your delectation, today, ladies, gentlemen, and those of you who have yet to make up your minds (about being ladies or gentlemen, I mean)!

2 cups, coarse ground…close the lid, pat her nozzle (for Michelle), flip the switch…and BB is working her magic again!

Coffee dreamin' on such an Autumn day!

And, as a special treat, donuts AND profiteroles from the French bakery down the street for the Sweet Set, with Sara's Sprinklies and Atlanta sports section in her hidey-hole, plus special sweets for Kimmi, Linda, BG, Angel, Lilly, and Harley.

And congratulations to AA and the Braves for beating the (boo!) Dodgers! I said that LA was overlooking the Braves, and am so glad they got their asses handed to them. Plus I know it will make Sara feel better. Y'all get better, now y'hear?

And congratulations to Buz as well! How are your Dawgs doing?

My Dawgs are doing well, they're ranked #1 in the nation right now. The Braves are in The World Series and the Dawgs are ranked #1. The only thing sweeter is for the Braves to win The World Series, and The Dawgs win the SEC and National Championship.

Braves Win! Braves Win! The Atlanta Braves just beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2, to win the National League Championship!

Now, Go Braves, beat the Astros in THE WORLD SERIES!!!

The Atlanta Braves are in The World Series!!!

I'll be guzzling Jack Daniels. Y'all have a drink with me.

Cheers! GO BRAVES!!!

So far, a great weekend. My Georgia Bulldogs, ranked #1 in the nation whipped the Kentucky Wildcats 30-13. Both teams went into the game undefeated. It was a slobberknocker. My voice is wrecked from yelling. The weather was awesome for football, sunny and cool. Go Dawgs!

And the Atlanta Braves took game 1 against the LA Dodgers in the Championship for the National League. Go Braves!

How about ice cold Dos Equis and Jack Daniels?

Cheers y'all!

My Braves trounced the Brewers now they are headed to the NLCS woohoo bring on the next opponent worship

Hope everyone has a great day.

Stay safe silly

My wife & l were at the game last night. Freddie Freeman's homerun in the bottom of the 8th inning was awesome! So great the Braves are now in the NLCS. GO BRAVES!!!

I had a fantastic day in Athens, GA yesterday. A great tailgate with a lot of old college friends. The stadium packed out at 93,000. The UGA coeds and young alumnas really put of  a show in their sexy little outfits, and my Dawgs barbecued the #8 ranked Arkansas Razorbacks 37-0. Yes! Put the big ole goose egg on those Hogs!. It was a physically dominating beat down. The Georgia Bulldogs are rolling! Like steamrollers! Go Dawgs! Sic 'Em! Woof! Woof!

I'll have a few ice cold beers this afternoon. Cheers y'all!

Celebrate with me! I'm having Jack Daniels straight on ice.

The Atlanta Braves just clenched the Eastern Division Championship of the National League. That makes 4 years in a row! And the Braves hold the major league record for most Division titles all time at 21.

Go Braves! Cheers y'all!

Happy Birthday Spritecus!

I remember a lot of your birthdays. I liked the one where we dispatched two Roman Legions. And there was that one when you stole Attilla the Hun's horse. And your nekkid romp with Catherine the Great and that troop of Cossacks! Oh, the good old days!

Have a really AWESOME BIRTHDAY, SPRITECUS!

Clicking on your mail link in Lushstories brings up a log in page for StoriesSpace. So we cannot get into our Lushstories mail at all.

Hey, congratulations to the Top 3, and the honorable mentions rounding out the top 10. Way to Jake for the win!

I am blocked from getting my messages here. Lush wants a,6 digit authentucation code, which l do not have. I logged in, so why a code? How do l get my pm's now?

Everyone's bio page l look at has an option to update their avatar showing. That must be a glitch that needs fixing.

Logging in can take 20 minutes, several attempts, and turning off your device and turning it back on (whether is it a phone, tablet, laptop, or a desktop). Why can't we log in and just stay logged in?

Have y'all lost Badges, story views, had story scores changed, etc. from the changeover? Ugh!

All my stuff is really messed up.

I need a drink bad. Anything really!

Hey Buz! Sounds like you're feeling better again! That's good news – and about the Dawgs, too! I don't have a dog in this fight, so to speak, living in Canada, so I'll pull for Georgia.

What'll you have to drink? We have the usual bland beers, wishy-washy wines, and low-key liquors. Got a fresh supply of Jameson's in the other week by mule train, courtesy of Carl, and then there's always the Old Lederhosen still out back if you want the real deal – and don't care what happens to your innards!

We could have Jack Daniels or Makers Mark, and l love ice cold Mexican beers, especially Dos Equis. Jamesons would be nice too.

I am familiar with homemade distilled whiskeys. I've had peach brandy that would cause an explosion if you lit up a cigar.

If you attended a Georgia game you could easily get hooked. The entire college football experience is truly awesome.

It's a great Sunday afternoon here. I'm chilling on the back deck. The heat and humidity are much lower than normal, more like October than August.

Cheers!
My wife and I were in Charlotte, NC for the first TOP 5 college football showdown of the year. Las Vegas had Clemson as a 3 point favorite over my Dawgs.

Hmmm... here's what really happened...

Georgia 10
Clemson 3
FINAL SCORE

GO GEORGIA BULLDOGS! SIC 'EM! WOOF! WOOF

So y'all, Have a round of drinks here in Rumps on me.

It was damned awesome to be in a big football stadium packed with loud screaming, rabid fans! I absolutely love it!

I hope you all have a drink on me. Set 'em up Rumps!

I'll have to wait. A few weeks ago, l had an emergency surgery, so l'm not quite ready for a bourbon. But l expect to have a Jack Daniels on ice before long. And l am looking forward to tailgate parties before Georgia Bulldog games. Which means downing quite a few ice cold beers and munching on cheeseburgers.

Y'all have a great evening.
Monsieur Derrierre is funny and lighthearted. Funny is good. The way to a woman's heart is to make her laugh. Well, one of the ways...
I got the Mederna vaccine, both shots. With the first shot l barely knew l'd had it. The second shot l got on a Friday morning and worked all day without feeling effects. That evening l developed a fever. The next day, Saturday, l was quite sick all day, feverish, exhausted, miserable. Saturday evening all sickness ended rather abruptly. And that was that.

I know that the desired response to the second Mederna shot is several hours of sickness. That shows you are building antibodies.

I plan on getting a booster as soon as it is available and l am eligible.

Agree with all, in high school gym, which tend to have uniforms in US. However, beyond that, no. That said, I don't know what guys who need the hard cup (what they were originally designed for) are doing these days.

The hard cup, also called a 'catcher's cup' because it is always worn by the catcher in baseball. A baseball is packed hard and tight, and when thrown at high speeds by the pitcher, if the catcher got hit in the balls with it, would most likely cause permanent damage. The pain would probably be so bad it could render the catcher unconscious. Surgery might be required.

Sometimes quarterbacks in football might wear the cup because in the act of throwing the football their body is left unprotected. You usually see quarterbacks with a funny looking pad protection around their stomach and chest for that reason. So many also wear the hard cup tp protect their testicles from hard hits.

So, especially for baseball catchers and even for football quarterbacks, if the player wants to father children in the future, that cup is a necessity. But is would be a nuisance for playing other positions, and other sports. As we guys know, though, there is always that possibility of getting your nuts whacked while playing sports. Ouch! 5 minutes of brutal, horrible pain. But usually just temporary.

I feel your pain. I was brought up with sweet milky tea to accompany meals. Working-class as we were, Mum had aspirations, so we would sip from Royal Albert fine bone china, elaborately gilt and decorated cups and saucers, milk and sugar bowl table centre. Tea from a pot — leaves n'all.

I weened myself off sugar in tea in my twenties, but I was in my thirties before I could drink coffee without it.

We have a set of china cups and saucers in a cupboard we have not used since the seventies. A wedding gift from an aunt. We tell ourselves don't get shute, keep them as a backup for when posh visitors turn up unexpected. I think the moribund aluminium teapot would let us down, though.

Ice cold sweet tea is absolutely heavenly! And the best sweet tea is when the sugar is brewed into the tea. That's Southern style. I wouldn't have it any other way. Pain is when it's not available. My second favorite beverage for a meal is ice cold beer.

Now coffee, l like black, strong, and hot. No sugar.

Oh! I do enjoy hot Chinese tea with Chinese food or Thai food. No sugar.
Tams is fucking awesome! What an amazing writer!

Do you guys in America even have a meal that anyone calls "Teatime"?

No. And tea where l'm from, is sweet and iced. Actually, sweet tea is the most common drink to accompany lunch and supper meals.

Evening meal I call supper
Unless it's Christmas Thanksgiving or Easter then it's dibber

I miss Waffle House ...

What!? You don't have a Waffle House nearby? That's a tragedy!
Where l live, supper mostly, but sometimes dinner.

Lunch is midday, but on Christmas or Thanksgiving we call it dinner.

Late morning is called brunch.

Early morning is called breakfast.

But eating at Waffle House ar 2:00am is just eating because your drunk and hungry.
