My thoughts exactly but I realize if I turn off the news and keep my world to just the local things around me, in other words, the world that I actually see and touch, it’s still normal and friendly. I’ve been thinking about that and noticing that a lot lately.

I’m making burger bowls as we speak. It’s burger ingredients in a bowl, without the bun. Divide lettuce into bowls and top with beef, tomatoes, pickles, onion, cheddar, and avocado. Add mustard or whatever you like. I use ground turkey instead of beef.

Enjoying the clip-clop of horses outside my window on Mackinac Island. Hubby is working and I'm writing. Feels good to have the words flowing while I have time to devote to writing. These two things do not always line up.

I love Mackinac Island! So relaxing and restful. There is a big yellow house that is an Airbnb with comfy rocking chairs on the front porch that is a perfect place to take a nap. It’s nice to rent a couple bicycles and ride around. And don’t miss out on the fudge! Enjoy!
