I also signed a petition to help stop the genocide of Christians and other minorities by Isis. I was sickened hearing about them cutting the heads off people for their faith, including children.

My husband and I have a great emotional relationship but when it comes to sex, it really falls short. We've been married for three years and we're both mid to late 20's.

We have sex once every three months, if lucky and it's been this way for 2.5 years. I've tried everything a can think of but it seems that he doesn't really like anything (including lingerie, costumes, role plays, sex anywhere but the bedroom, oral sex, toys).

I haven't let myself go, I still go to the trouble of trying to look and feel sexy every day.

He works from home so at times he might not shower for days and he will only brush his teeth if I mention it. Most nights I go to bed on my own. I know he's not depressed cos we've talked about this several times, it seems to have become a cycle.

It's getting pretty difficult keeping it together. I would never cheat on him but it's kind of hard to ignore my sexual needs...when a sexy guy walks by my hormones go crazy.

Any ideas?

First of all, my heart goes out to you. That is pretty unusual for being in your twenties. That sounds like the behavior of a couple in their seventies. Your husband needs to see a councilor. The poor hygiene and lack of interest in sex is a sign of withdrawal and depression. I'm assuming this started after you were married. You've got some serious decisions to make. Your whole life is before you. I personally couldn't live a life devoid of intimacy. Sacrifice is mandatory to make any marriage work but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice a lifetime of happiness.

what about firing a worker 'cause he can't satisfy you sexually?

Keep it up.
Does firing a lazy worker that doesn't show up for work count? Oh crap, Ask the Gals.
Why it is that when you ask your wife or girl friend how they feel and they say fine they mean anything but fine? And if you don't pick that up immediately you're in deep trouble.

Oh but they do. You've got same views as me but I joined two years earlier than you. Soooo, I'm looking for a great boob avatar.
Steph, you are one funny guy. I was laughing my ass off but your story about the inspectors triggered a thought of what happened to me when I went to Italy on business. The day I was coming home there was a terrorist orange alert. I have knee and hip prosthetics so when I go through the body scan it is triggered. They usually just wand me but because of the orange alert they decided to search me. I went into a room with three inspectors. None of which spoke English. They motioned for me to remove my shoes shirt and trousers. I went a step further and dropped my boxers too. So I stood there with my dingle berry hanging out. They were all shaking their hands no. I guess they figured it wasn't a deadly weapon.
I would have said the theory of relativity when I was younger but now as a seasoned more mature man I can unequivocally say it is something both philosophers and some of the greatest minds that have ever lived have pondered. And that is the 'mind of a woman.'

Cthulhu. That dude's MEAN! ...oh, and Republicans. (not necessarily in that order)

And... I'm fearful of ultra liberal chicks disguised as a beautiful Indian princesses. They lure in innocent conservative guys and wammo, they are thinking progressive. (Shutter)
As a long term pilot of both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft (15,000 hours). I'm frightened of heights. I can't look over a cliff or recently look over Hoover Dam. It makes me freak out. Shivers and paralyzing fear. But... If I'm flying I'm not scared in the least. Weird huh?

sometimes, even when people tell you, even if you know, you still feel the guilt - "what ifs" are hard, especially since they can never be answered. i know they always come back to haunt me, and i assume they haunt most of the people in this thread as well as the people who love them. all you can really do is move on and yeah, i find that doing your best to use your experience, to help out others, helps assauge that guilt, or at least make it bearable *hugs*

I agree. I didn't reveal the horrors of my childhood even to my wife. It was something that I put in my lock box an hid away. I didn't and still don't seek sympathy. I consider the horrors of the past building blocks to a stronger future. My experiences made me determined to be the best father and husband that ever lived. Well the jury is out on that but I gave it my all.

What goes round comes around. My son is the most amazing person I know. His quick actions saved my life recently when I had this heart episode. That is the second time he saved me actually. He pulled me out of the ocean a few years ago when I crashed and burned on a 25 ft. wave.

I believe all that bad stuff that happens works for our good if we let it shape us. All that bad stuff you fought through Rachel made you the amazing sensitive woman you are today. There is truth to the old saying, what doesn't kill you will make you stronger. Think about it. Was your character built on the easy times or hard ones?
Only 31,585 times has my page been viewed. I think I might need to put some big boobs as my avatar.

I feel like they've set up the foreshadowing of several characters potential demise during this half-season so it's totally messing with us! I was convinced it was going to be Carol for a few weeks (she was really getting the imminent-death edit)... then I changed my mind to Daryl. But now I wonder... maybe they shot Daryl to tease/stress the audience and it's really going to be someone else.

I know my stomach is going to be in knots for the season finale. I think in order to have the necessary impact of that iconic scene, they will need to kill off a major character. I can't imagine it having the same kind of effect if it ends up being someone like Abraham or Morgan, but after faking us out with Glen and Dumpstergate, anything is possible.

I feel like it should be one of the original Atlanta-Five, but I really don't want it to be.

My final guess at this point is Daryl, but I'm expecting (and hoping) that I'm wrong.

I totally agree with you Ash. I think it's probably going to be Glen or Daryl. Now that Glen's baby has miscarried. Who knows? They keep teasing us. But they have to kill off some to make room for the new characters of Jesus and his group.

I'd read that story.

It was more than sex she taught me. She taught me dance. How to be a gentleman. Dress properly. Hold chairs, open doors, speak confidently with the focus on her and not me. It translated into all aspects of my life. Confidence goes far in sports, school, and work.
