Going back to the original question. I must admit if I'd rather have negative feedback by private message. I've been lucky because so far all my feedback has been great - many thanks to all who've left me a comment or emailed me. It's a brave thing to do, you know - put a story on public display. I was quite nervous about it. The comments that really interest me are from other authors and it gives me a real buzz. But if one gave me some criticism (as long as it was constructive) I'd be thankful for that as well.
