We could go the route of people classifying their entire profile as either Safe For Work / Softcore / Hardcore, but there may be a few problems. What if a friend posts something hardcore on your profile, ignoring the Safe For Work indicator? And who would want a pop up saying, "This profile has been deemed hardcore, continue? Yes / No"?

Nicola, I like your idea a lot. Yes, some people will abuse it. But you can always put a rule on the site about abusing it and what happens if you do.
For instance, if someone complains another member has posted hardcore, when they want their profile to be office-friendly then you can block that person from posting on that member's wall for 3 days. That gives the member offended a few days to think over their friendship with the offender, and whether or not to block them permanently from their wall.
I am suggesting that it allows the site and each member some protection from unwanted postings. My friends usually tell me, or put in their profiles: NO HARDCORE POSTING, or something similar. One wants hardcore. That reverses the situation because personally I rarely go looking for anything hardcore myself. Members could indicate that too by indicating other members a free to post what they wish.
Sounds more complicated than it would be.
I am just musing here to give you some helpful feedback. Hope it helps.

I just want to give you some support on this D. Some of the hottest and prettiest women I know are

desirable as not. D is right. We all carry our weight differently.
Besides, we all carry OURSELVES differently.
I know women with what are called "hot" bodies that are so nasty, I can't get away form them fast enough.
