I think it's very difficult to make high-waisted jeans look good, unless you're doing some kind of vintage'y pin-up high fashion look. As RavenStar said, it's so easy to veer into mom-jean zone.
I think if you have a great waist and/or are fit, go for the low-rise hipster style for sure.
All my jeans are low rise or mid rise. I do like my slim-fit or skinny jeans or even slim-fit boyfriend jeans on occasion, Japanese denim, usually dark, sometimes distressed/minimal shredding. My fave overall brand is Rag & Bone.
I wash my brushes twice a week, and wash my foundation brush after every use. I use Philosophy 'Purity' to wash them. Technically this is a face cleanser but I ended up with a large bottle of it and I didn't like it anymore as a cleanser, so I started using it to clean my brushes after it was established as a good product to use for this. I wash off my brushes facing down, tipped into the stream of water to avoid getting the stem wet, which can damage the brush.
I also have an MUF Instant Brush cleaner spray bottle (alcohol-free) which I use as a quick cleaner if I'm using different coloured products and don't want any colour residue transfer.
I don't share make-up but I know you can sanitize it with an alcohol spray. I've seen people selling makeup second-hand (eyeshadow palettes, blushes etc), using this method to clean it, but I still can't bring myself to buy used make-up. I don't like store testers either, even when they're freshly 'sanitized'.
As others have said - I chuck any make-up that looks or smells funky. I've pretty much been living off mascara samples for years (I always get tons of deluxe samples), so they get used-up and tossed very regularly.
Steel cut oats and blueberries.
As Mazza mentioned, I would definitely establish the dynamic of the couple before they go the masseur. Earlier in the story, you could use the move to Singapore to mention how there is hope that the wife will be able to immerse herself in a new culture and explore a new city and have something to focus on, thus hopefully taking her mind off their infertility issues and her longing to have a child of her own etc. You could even mention that they'd been trying IVF in Australia etc without success and the couple was hoping the move would be a fresh start for their marriage, away from the stresses of trying to conceive.
I think this would help the reader understand and empathize with the husband's decision later on during the sex scene.
I have a very basic curved double-ended glass one - one with a smooth end and the other with gentle smooth graduated balls. I really wish I had gotten one with ridges and bumps. The sales person at the store I bought it from considered herself an expert in glass toys and insisted I need to 'build up' to the more interesting models and that the ridges and bumps would be 'too much for me'. *sigh*. I like the model I have for g-spot stimulation and hot/cold play mostly. Glass toys are so pretty.
Does lube help ease the 'oh no' sensations and the irritation on the seam?
I can see it being a fun one for BDSM or for one partner to use on another while restrained.
The price is great on this one.
These look really great! I like the intense curve on this model. I'll admit, I'm kind of crushing on the silver Njoy Pure Wand you posted as well!
Fantastic review, SP!
