A visual from the story:

Probably a good plan for writers who have the time. Given I work fulltime and have a life other than writing (no matter how hard I try, the house won't look after itself, and my wife has this funny idea that we are supposed to do stuff together 😊), I tend to drain my tank because I might not get another chance until it is full again anyhow.
I couldn't come close to 1000 words a day when I was working. More like 300 words, though I tried to do it every day.

Why wouldnt i have coffee with a popular, well liked member and talented author, who has 6/6 "Recommended Reads" or "Editors Picks"?
Full disclosure, I deleted the two stories that didn't earn something.
I'm actually 6/8. My vanity is showing.
I think Carton would be more fun to talk with over a beer, but I'll settle for coffee.
I try to write 1000 words a day. If it's a struggle (it usually is), I stop, but if they come easily, I just make a few notes for the next day, and then stop. It's like a trail of breadcrumbs for the next day's writing.
I try to stop write BEFORE the tank is empty, in other words. Leave some gas in the tank for tomorrow.

Not something that happens often, but has happened a few times. Never evolved into a relationship.
Do you think a “zipless fuck” (ref:Erica Jong”) is a good thing?
From Fear of Flying! Absolutely. I had some pubescent fantasies over the term "zipless fuck"
HYE had a zipless fuck?
