What's going on, girl?

Thank you, Sprite. I think she was pissed because I wouldn't agree to meet.
Do they have scrumpy here? Otherwise, Natch. I'll have a half.
I like this pub. Coffee for me, and whatever the lads are having.

Ten English Dames In One Unheated Shower

UNHEATED
This is much better. The first of many concerts and festivals I attended in 1969.
Mrs Weasel:
"In case anyone wants to know why 62 people gave this a thumbs down, I can tell you why I did. Sting couldn't play or sing a bum note if his life depended on it. John Mayer is always on fire. The rest of the band was more than competent. Then this unpleasant, untalented piece of excrement came on, rapped some drivel, and continued to ruin the rest of the song. I can hear it now, some producer saying, "Let's get Kanye West, he's popular." The only thing I do not understand is why there are only 62 of us."
You have been warned.
Apparently, I do not, but when you are 68 being told you look 60 doesn't do much.
Batteries? Nobody told me about batteries. So if I push this ... Oh wow, that feels good!
If you have seen Sleepless In Seatle you may remember when Tom Hanks asked his friend, "And whatever happened to pubic hair?" Well, I was wondering that myself. I've got used to it, but I have kept and am keeping mine.

Build a music studio and open a small club.
Give my family enough to retire and live comfortably on.
Travel the world.

I can't play worth shit for the most part, but I love music. Maybe I could still learn and record something. No club though, not where I'm going.
My parents are dead, my favourite cousin is mad at me, and my kids are doing well. They'll not want if they need anything.
We are agreed we do not want to fly or sail anywhere. Ever. New Orleans has strong appeal, and Boston, and San Francisco again maybe.
We can't retire from our main jobs, we are writers. So:

Buy mountain woodland, at least forty acres at 7 to 8 thousand feet. Probably in northern New Mexico.
Build a zero carbon footprint house with a huge workshop.
Equip said house and workshop with every appliance and tool I think might be useful.
Buy a Mercedes Benz Sprinter 4wd.
Buy a practical electric vehicle, maybe custom built since I don't see one.
Invest in several Cryptocurrencies.
Contribute heavily to a friend's animal shelter, maybe $500k would give her a big boost.
Rescue abandoned TV shows. We are tired of good shows being dropped because the advertisers don't think they can squeeze enough from them. At least one show was dropped in the middle of a two-parter. Carnivale could do with at least one more season. And Boomtown.
Oops, nearly forgot, a Gigabit connection and computers and network gear to the tune of $100K.

TransitionalMan, I'm too old to race and my husband wouldn't like it. I might be able to get some thrills vicariously by sponsoring you.

Can't sleep. I'll clean up the bar and put out some fresh, clean (mostly) cups for the coffee and tea drinkers.

I don't drink coffee so I have no idea how to work Bertha. I'll let more capable hands take care of that.

I'll leave some blueberry and lemon poppy seed muffins I made on the bar.

I'll have a ginger ale and then try to get some sleep.

Cheers.
