Smoking. We went to an Appleby's soon after we were married. They are designed with a central bar and wide steps up each side for tables. The bar and tables close to it were in the smoking area, the tables higher up were designated non-smoking. Does anyone else see the flaw in this design? We were at our table, as far from the smokers as we could get, for less than two minutes. We will never go back, even though smoking has been banned completely in restaurants.
