Murder, She Wrote was an end of career money maker for her and hardly sums her up.

In short, it would (or should) be an honour to be played by Dame Angela Lansbury.

Rum and coke, please.

Again, I am not maligning Angela Lansbury. I know she was a fine actress in some serious films. I just find it suspicious that Jessica Fletcher was in the vicinity of close to 300 murders. I do not want Jessica Fletcher playing me. Apart from anything else I'd be in constant fear that I might not make it to the end of my own movie.

Angela Lansbury WAS NOT the murderer in the series Murder She Wrote and the show wasn't only set in the small town. If you don't like the actress please don't misinterpret their work! A lot of time she helped her friends clear their names when they were accused.

Woah, sister. Don't shoot the messenger. In twelve years wherever she went there was a murder. That's an awful lot of coincidences. And I never said I don't like the actress. I just implied that I don't want her playing me.
Who is that gorgeous creature in the water and does she need mouth to mouth resuscitation?
Coquettish

Edit: Well that's not right. Roger may be a lot of wonderful things, but coquettish? Probably not.

Sprite, she wrote: enjoy your mornings. the revolution begins at noon.

Me, I mused: Sounds interesting. 'High Noon' is one of my fav flicks. Are you gonna take the Grace Kelly role or do you hanker to give Gary Cooper a try? ;)

Question for all rraggedy-assed Rumplations rejects: If Hollywood was gonna make a movie about you, who would you want playing the lead, big-time starring role of, you? Also and in addition, who would the idiots in charge actually pick for the part?

Anybody need a drink?

My pick, Helen Hunt from As Good As it Gets. Her boobs are small but they are gorgeous.

Idiots' pick, Someone very unsexy like Angela Lansbury, the murderer from Murder She Wrote. Really, think about it. She turns up in a sleepy town where the biggest crime in the last century was shoplifting. Within days a popular townie is dead and she sets about framing some poor sod.

Actually, if she was still alive I would.t mind being played by Katie Johnson, Mrs Lopsided from The Ladykillers (1955).

Lessee, what would I like to drink. Ah, cocoa would be nice, with some baby marshmallows if there are any.

Just as a silly bit of trivia. The tumbleweed is known as Russian thistle in its home of origin. It is an iconic symbol of the Old West in the United States but it is actually an introduced species. It came into North America from Asia as seeds stuck to gunny sacks used to transport grains and such back in the 19th century.

I'll have a cuppa jäva, barkeep, if you please.

Cynthia has a grand piece of work on 'sacre bleu' at the moment. It's one of her special history stories with some supernatural thrown in for extra spice.
