I have never been in prison and I have never had a serious infectious disease. I have no idea why not. Example: I left for work one morning and five minutes later the house was raided. Everyone there went to jail, and although I was doing nothing wrong I'd have had a hard time of it had I been there. I am a part-time plumber, in and out of strangers' homes all the time. Ever since my husband became disabled I have carried a spray bottle of peroxide and paper towels in my truck, I use them whenever I return to my truck. If I hear a cough or sneeze in the grocery store I head for a different aisle. I always make sure we can last at least two weeks without me leaving the house, much longer if we make a few sacrifices. We also have pills which will shorten and reduce the severity of any virus I do catch. I hadn't thought about pandemics before, but that should keep us safe.
