Kimmi popping in to say "Happy Birthday, Bill!!"

Miss y'all! I am in Atlanta for awhile... long story. Life is spanking my booty right now, but trying to regroup. I hope you all are well!

Happy birthday Bill! I hope it's been a great day!

Kimmi, thanks for popping in, we have all been looking for your beautiful face.

DD and I have our 14 yo granddaughter tonight. Love that girl! Sassy and full of love.

Have a great night everyone!
*waves hello and slides a plates of cupcakes on the bar*

Happy St. Patrick's Day friends!

I will have a strong cup of coffee with a shot of Jamesons and a couple of cupcakes for me and DD.

Elyse, I have your story on my list

Hope to hear from Jimmy and Michelle soon. I've missed them!

Have a great day everyone, I'll pop in later.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Congrats to all the poetry winners, amazing reads all of them.

Rolled out of bed not long ago, stayed up too late and Daylight Savings kicks my butt every time.

I will have a large cup of coffee and head to the overstuffed chair to read for awhile.

Taking Sadie for a play date this afternoon with her parents and litter mates, lots of Golden Retrievers running around and frolicking in the park. I will need all my energy.

Enjoy your day friends!

Yay, I got published - by Sprite even, so thank you again. But now I'm really nervous!
Is it the custom around here for me to buy the round since I have my first story up or does the house buy one for me? Either way, start pouring!

Welcome Wild!
I'm Gracie and I am sure you will meet my other half Daddy_D in a day or so. I will buy you a drink for your first story accomplished! Not sure who is pouring tonight but have them put it on DD's tab.

I will have a bit of that hidden Jameson and ginger ale. Its been a long week.

James and Grace, I am looking forward to the party at Rumps!
Good Afternoon friends!

Sorry to have been away for awhile. The company I work for is going through a global reshape, lots of conference calls, helping people get their resume's ready to apply for new roles, finding out what the "new" organization will look like... all sorts of fun stuff like that. I am very grateful that my role was not impacted in the shift, but a lot of my friends are getting the opportunity to retire. I am very happy for them, but a little sad for me, they have been fantastic people to work with in my 20 years.

Great to note though that we went out with friends last night and were not obligated to wear a mask. Life might get back to normal afterall. smile

Kat, I will have one of those fantastic looking brownies.

Just a large sweet iced tea to go for me as I get back to the grind (no pun intended)

I will check in later. Have a lovely afternoon!

1 coffee and 2 doughnuts. Gotta feed Gracie too.

Michelle , thank you so much for the donut

Emma , your Orchid is a beautiful shade of pink!

Karl, excellent selection of Rush. Good memories of cranking the stereo with that one.

Just popped in for a large sweet ice tea to go. The sun is shining in Texas again, I think I will take my laptop and work on the patio for a bit.

Happy Thursday all!

I think I can rustle up a fine brew for you and 2 donuts, can't have Gracie going peckish now can we.

Good afternoon friends!

Michelle, thank you for sending the donut with Daddy for me. Just what I needed since meetings started at 7 am and finished a bit ago. He brought me a coffee too and all of that loveliness kept me going.

Thought I would pop in and grab a large sweet tea to go. Grabbing lunch and then meetings again.

Elyse, keep up your search, we are all here for you.

James, I'm not so sure you are putting water in that bottle.

Until later! Have a great day!

Being a treasured submissive has nothing to do with sex. Sex is a vehicle by which that feeling of being treasured can be achieved, however it is not the only, nor is it a required vehicle. Just to know you have a bond with someone who you have pleased, and are treasured for it, is like no other.

Your love for her should please her to the moon and back.

DD

Daddy is correct, D/s is not only physical it is a bond like no other. I am a very lucky lady to have the best of both worlds. I not only have a spouse that is my love, lover, and holds my heart, but also being completely treasured and protected by him for the submissiveness in me.

Squishy hugs for you Elyse.

Tanya, Thanks for the quck shot of reality though it brings a shiver to my spune to think how things have changed. Its not a precise sceintifiic survery, nor has it been verified but a quick survery of serveral Covid recoverees has indicated an extremly high labido after a full recovery. If ytour sick, consider that as a reason to get well soon.

IF your not, well hope you find someother way.

@Tanya I'll have a shot of that red head looking at me Points to @Twisted_Skald

Hi Terri,
I agree. Just found out a few minutes ago that one of my cousins had it and is recovering. Not sure how bad yet.

Stay safe friend ?
*walks into the bar waving*
Good Monday Morning all!

Thanks for the setup and clean up ladies. I will have a large cup of Java to go.

Lucky, when is the zoo opening again? I know you are anxious to get back there.

Kat, that is a wonderful memory for you and your daughter. Happy birthday to her.

Rumps, ditch the pork rinds and come back in. I have brought a plate of Kolache's, both sausage and fruit variety today.

Everyone enjoy, I'll check back in later.

Michelle, I don't have a quote, but I do have a tune.

This is what a happy, relaxed Kimmi looks like. When stressed, I promise you nature will help.

The comp should close while I am gone. Everyone who entered be proud of your entry. It's hard to write that crazy thing called Poetry!

See y'all in few days.

You are beautiful kimmi!

Here, with pictures of my awesome mantis eating her first green fly. I had some fly casters arrive, however the person I bought them from either thought he was being helpful and put some live flies, loose in the package or he is a complete troll... I had to catch the bastard things not knowing they were in there ?

Your mantis is absolutely beautiful! We have a friend that raises monarch butterflies. Nature is amazing.
Good Afternoon everyone!

*perches on the nearest barstool and places chips and salsa on the bar for snacks, drops Terance a cricket in his jar*

i will have a Jameson and ginger-ale for the afternoon refresher please.

Thanks for the nice comments on my pups. They are alot of fun, Sadie is slowly calming down from teething (thank the good lord, my hands can't take anymore of the puppy bites), Brutus is not feeling well right now, all the changes in the weather make his joints hurt.

Kristin and James -- Congrats on the "Top Authors" box!

Daddy I see Sandy is still in the "Story Picks"

Kimmi, You're pictures are amazing! So glad you are having a wonderful time on your get away.

Have to run a couple of errands..

Thanks for the drink Rumps!

Well it happened....STOP THE PRESSES!!
Mr.Potato head is sadly now known as Potato head??????? They can’t even leave our child hood toys alone...pouts????

Lucky, you have GOT to be kidding me. I will pout with you So frustrating all of this stuff.

Happy Friday everyone!

*waves and puts a plate of brownies on the bar*

I hope that you are all doing well. I feel like I have missed alot since last week with the freeze and all. Alot going on at work, even though I am wfh. The company I work for is going through a major global reorganization from the top down. Fortunately, I was not impacted by the changes. I am in a pretty specialized role so I am thankful for that. The downside is that I need to help 2 of the ppl that work for me, find new roles. They are offshoring "again" and with that comes less roles locally. New HR systems to navigate through and then navigating the new org structures, has kept me pretty busy of late along with my regular job. (whining just a little here, thanks for listening).

Hi Sunny - I'm Gracie I don't think I've had the opportunity to meet you yet.

Good thing is it's FRIDAY!!

James, guess what? that little icon for posting pics finally showed up for me, so I can catch up and share the fur babies at our house.

this is Brutus aka grouchy old man dog

this is Sadie aka crazy 5 mth old

Rumps, I will have a large ice tea please. Maybe something a little stronger later on.

POWER OUTAGE BATHROOM ETIQUTTE:

Don't flush till you have to. Its ok to skip a few times if thre is nothing too nasty.
If power is on and off, fill the bath tub with water. You can use that water for intermittent flus or what ever you need water for. Fill some jugs for brushing teeth etc. Hopefully you have some hand sanitizer.
Save cell phones for emergencies. You can charge in the car.
Don't run generators, or LP Gas heators or kerosene heaters indoors w/o ventalation. Test your smoke and CO Detecors

Meanwhile: Sending Hershey bars, marshmellows, grahm crackers and sticks for smores. Alos a few campfire song books. You will survive.
Oh Big Hint: If you have small /impressionabale kids DO NOT WATCH movies about the Donner Party. NOTE: If you do watch the movie, Don't look at your kids and say "Gosh I'm hungry"
For those unfamilar here is the Donner Story https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donner_Party

Thank you Terri for the survival tips! We are used to hurricane preparedness but this cold is crazy. I put in my hints to DD for getting a generator in the spring.

Kimmi, enjoy your stew and book. sorry to hear about your son's car,but thankful his injury sounds minor.
Hello friends!

I will have a giant cup of hot chocolate and perhaps a shot of bailey's in it.

Sorry to be MIA, but I think DD has been keeping up on our status.

Sure is cold in Texas this week. We had power until 4 am yesterday and still had running water. Power came back on for about 3 hrs early this morning and I welcomed the heat. Woke up to no power again and nonexistent water pressure
Fortunately we have a gas stove and can boil water and cook.

Made a huge pot of green chilie stew *puts stew pot on the bar" have a bowl if you need something warm in your belly.

Stay safe and warm everyone, enjoy the stew and I will pop in later.

FYI - I am not a camping kind of girl and this is pretty close.
Happy Belated Birthday Harley! I hope your day was as fantastic as you are!

DD I hope your back feels better, sometimes it's damn worth the pain for the pleasure you got, so keep ticking.
Gracie darling, I've got some back rub stuff back here if you want to rub the knots out of his back. I was always keen on a little massage in my submissive days. Gave a truly killer foot massage if Mistress was to be believed.

Good Afternoon everyone!

*slides up to the bar, eyeballing Terence cautiously*

Michelle, I will have one of those cookies if there are any left, some of that back rub stuff for DD, and a Jameson's and ginger ale please.

Elyse, Sorry about Jane Criminal Minds (love that show). I completely forgot she was Spencer's mother!

Kimmi , Lucky and Kristin, your cats are beautiful! We had 2 black cats growing up, one Boots (white mittens of course) and the other was Salem. People are so dumb about black cats.

Karl, Rascal is handsome as well, and Bailey such a pretty calico

Emma, your orchid is amazing! Siggy is wonderful too!

Soleil, we haven't met yet, I'm Gracie and your Mischief looks to be a real sweetie.

Thank you all for the complements after reading my little poem. First time I have ever written anything so I appreciate the kind words. DD is the current writer in the family.

If someone will advise on how I can insert pictures I will share my fur babies too.
Quote by Liz

I would like some too.

DD, I get to taste it first please.

Lucky, you have found a great place to hang out.
Good morning ladies (and gents when they get here later),

Glad to see I'm not the only early riser today. Thank you for opening the doors and sprucing up the place.

Even though I am not Irish born, I do have some in my bloodline so I feel lucky to be in good company this morning.

I will have a large mug of coffee please Michelle, and one each of the brownies and lovely custard tarts.

I'm going to curl up in the big chair and debate with myself about remaining a reader only (I do love to read), or if I want to try my hand at a poem.
Good Sunday Morning friends.

Thank you Michelle for the setups. Everything looks delicious and smells wonderful. I will add a box of kolache's to the treats, some sausage and cheese and a few with jalapenos as well.

BTW - you did get our names right (DD for short)

I'll have a cup of coffee, scone with fruit and go curl up in the big chair to read until time for the game.

BBQ sounds fantastic for lunch, I can run out and get some potato salad and cole slaw to go with it if you would like.

Xander, I'm sorry that you are feeling so blue. You need another hug dear .

Welcome to the pub Jack, have some coffee a drink, and some snacks. Everything is good and everyone is friendly.

Welcome to you as well DarkMuse. You will find a friendly bunch here.

Done with my coffee *washes the cup and puts it back in it's place* I must get the day going, I'll be back with the potato salad and slaw.
Good morning everyone,

Cold and rainy here today, so i didn't want to get up and get going, plus it's my day off so why should I?

Michelle, thank you for putting everything together so early. I've already had my 3 cups of coffee (someone kept me up late last night, name starts with D ), so I will have a cup of mint tea and one of those apple brownies you graciously brought in.

Carl, I am loving the colorful look you have today, it complements Terrance quite well.

James, enjoy your workout

Kimmi, it's impossible that you are that old, but my first crush was Elvis and followed by Patrick Swayze

Martin, I will play along

Good morning lovely friends,

I will have a large coffee and a blueberry muffin.

Lucky, thank you for your kind words. Thanks and prayers for your cousin as well.

Emma, your pets are beautiful.

Michelle, thanks for the encouragement on DD's writing and James I do like being called Gracie. ??

Off to read poetry. Have a great day and stay warm!
Good evening everyone,

Curvy, the brownies were delicious this morning and hit the spot.

Gillian, thank you for the restock of Jameson's.

Rump's, I will have the black label neat please.

Rachel , I love that you gave Terrance some color today. It makes him easier to spot.

Xander , you should try your hand at erotic poetry, I bet it would be a good read.

I haven't chimed in on the "controversy' with Ping since I am relatively new here. Our son is an RN in a major medical center, he was on the front line in the ER when Covid broke out and we think that he actually had it back in Feb last year as he was incredibly sick, on the brink of pneumonia. He has had both rounds of the vaccine and the second shot did make him fell a little bad for a couple of days. I know I feel better that he has had the shot considering his chosen profession. My mother and sister, both of whom are immune suppressed are on the list to get the shots, and I am relieved of that as well.

That being said, I read through the posts of the conversation and both sides seemed greatly opinionated and if I can say a bit hostile toward one another, but also others in the posting. I understand both sides and that we are ALL frustrated during the last year and all being stuck at home (great for the sex life, not so much for the social life). I do have a question being new to Lush and trying to understand the role of a moderator (hoping someone here can gently explain), should a moderator actively engage in such a hostile discussion (one that she started), and group ALL Americans in her outrage? She works very hard and I admire her for that (Lord knows that is not the profession for me) and I understand the risks, but help me understand a bit why someone that should be challenging and controlling conflict in various rooms, forums and such should not be taken to task like Ping was?

Please have some popcorn and educate me on the protocols (I don't want to make Rachel mad).
Good morning all!
Hoping for a quiet day today at that thing I must do because they pay me.
I will have a coffee to go and one of those delicious brownies.

Have a beautiful day ?
