There is a BIG difference between real hermaphrodites and fantasy hermaphrodites. Most hermaphrodites have underdeveloped genitals which don't always function completely. Would not a search and a tag provide different stories? Let's say that lesbian stories are written and the author does not put a lesbian tag on it. A search would pull it up because it contains lesbian but a tag would not as there is no lesbian tag on the story. Or a lesbian tag is put on a story that contains no lesbianism. It would not be pulled up in a search but display itself under a lesbian tag. Or do I have it wrong?
It bugs me more when they post pictures of porn stars and claim it is them. Or when they post pictures that have made their way around the internet and claim it is them. Those are completely obvious. Then when you call them on it and they still insist, you must shame them. And that just gets sad. I've pointed that out to a few "women" on here and a one even deleted "her" accounts a few days later.
I honestly don't care what gender you are. I'm not going to cyber with you. I'm just here to read a few fun forum threads and get off reading stories.
On the flipside of things, and you may think ill of me after I say this, there are some technical forums that do not have much respect for women. On one of those forums I set up a seemingly male profile. I've received a lot more direct help in that instance. So perhaps some men feel they get more direct attention or the attention they seek by pretending to be women.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This applies to society as well as physics.
No matter what voting system, no matter how many options or lack thereof, as long as there is a top authors list there will always be abuse. There is no reason to get so emotionally involved that you get upset over a little number. So someone doesn't like your name on the list, that is no reason to lose sleep.
I'm not sure why people have voted my stories up with 5's. They are not higher than average. They are not spectacular. Instead of wondering why we are getting 3's we should be wondering who in their right mind would give most of us 5's. Quite honestly I've only read a handful of stories that truly deserved a 5. The only reason I hand out 5's is because it is socially unacceptable on Lush to give out the median or average score, a three.
Forget the 3 bombers; the 5 bombers are more of a problem. Maybe we should take away justifying a score of 2 and instead have to justify a score of 5.
