Nothing new to report. My goal is to get 3,500 words in for the next contest. So far, I have 800 words of crap in a Google Doc. Time to find stories to read and inspire me.

I know politicians don't deserve it from me. Friends and family, on a case-by-case basis. My kid, the jury is out on that one.

Good afternoon, everybody! I'm back from the doctor, and I had a chest X-ray done. It turns out I have bronchitis and asthma that went undetected for years despite my getting nasty chest colds growing up. What triggered the bronchitis and asthma was the mold at work. I drove a forklift truck there, put stuff on high shelves, and came into contact with something moldy and dusty. Luckily for me, no mold spores got in my system. I may be permanently off the truck for health reasons, and I have a severe allergy to mold. It's lovely stuff, and I return to work in January.

I started working on the next story for the new competition, and congrats to the top 10 and the honorable mentions. Is there any hot apple cider around?

Meal-prepping dinner

Good evening. I decided to try my hand at the next contest. I had two working holiday stories that I’ll combine, i.e. have the characters come together and rework both plots into one. I’m sweating a lot less and I have two doctors appointments coming up.

I’m for burning ugly Christmas sweaters. When does the bonfire begin and I have the ingredients for s’mores ready to go!

I have a story or two I’ve been kicking around that can be combined in some fashion. Let’s see what I come up with

Good afternoon, all! Congrats to all the winners and the contestants who entered the competition. I dusted off a holiday story from about eight years ago that I want to rework and enter into the next competition.

I went to look at Christmas decorations with my mom and the kiddo to see what theme I wanted for this year's tree and tables. My mom is allowing me to take over her living room to decorate the tree and decorations. She and my aunt are grabbing the decorations and tree from my place and bringing them over. I'm more of a traditional Christmas person, but I like some Winter Forest-themed decorations. My daughter grabbed a Nutcracker because that's her thing.

I had to put the story I'm expanding onto ice for the moment. I'm reworking my Roommates with Benefits trilogy to turn it into a third-person viewpoint. I got invited to a live write scheduled for the first Saturday in January 2024 to workshop the story.

Good evening, everyone. I’ve been in the bed sweating out this virus I have, and it’s brutal. Me and the kid are back at my mom’s place so she can keep a close watch on me. I’m officially off work for the rest of this year, and I can use my FMLA to stay off until my health gets strong again. Once I return, I’ll be on light office duty until I am cleared to get back on the forklift truck. What’s a good show to binge on Netflix, and when’s the next story competition?

I might have a look. I keep thinking about whether a site or blog devoted to my writing might get me some more action, esp. for my non-erotic material. I could use the same hosting I use for the forum site I manage, just need to figure out how to build and manage it. Did you build from scratch or are you using something like Wordpress or Squarespace?

I use WordPress. Get hosting from Bluehost, they work well with WordPress.

Morning! I set the clock on my mom’s stove before bed last night and I’ll take care of the one in her car before the kiddo and I leave today. I decided to tackle Vlogmas on YouTube, but only for 12 days just to see how I like it. Then, I’ll start posting once a week like on my website.

I'm not, either, but I want to feed my curiosity. I agree that the media was horrible to her, and I believe the Diane Sawyer interview she did was the straw that broke the camel's back for her, hence the origin of her mental instability. I could be wrong, though. She wasn't mentally ready for the interview, in my opinion.
