I got bought a bottle of Makers Mark as a thank you from someone last week. Cracked it open at the weekend and have to say I really liked it. I haven't tried many Bourbons but it was nice to enjoy a splash of this over some frozen whisky stones.

Moderators and administrators can delete forum posts - regular members can edit them.
The reason for this is that if you are the OP (original poster) of a thread, for example 'RUMPLATIONS: Honky Tonk and Cyber Bar' and for whatever reason you deleted your first post, the entire thread would disappear as a cascade effect. In this particular example, 27,718 replies over 8 years.
Often, threads take on a momentum of their own such as in the Think Tank and it would be a terrible shame to lose them because the OP deleted their first post, for whatever reason. It would turn the forum into Swiss cheese.

Found two more bugs.
1 - The number of PM's showing on the top red bar does not update. Mine currently shows '2' but if I click to the front page it shows the correct stat of '0'.
2 - The forum stats are not showing any active users.

Please submit one at a time. You will be automatically notified by a private message once your story has been verified by a moderator, then you are welcome to submit another.
Only one per user appears in the story queue at any one time, so submitting multiple stories will not get them verified any faster.
Additionally, if your stories are part of a series and you submit multiple parts at the same time, it is entirely possible for an earlier part to be returned by a moderator and then for a later part to be published by a different moderator resulting in them hitting the front page of the site in the wrong order.

The ‘number of friends online’ stat on the right side of the top red bar shows zero, but shows the correct figure outside of the forum.

Double-click on the setting to change the value from “true” to “false” and this should prevent websites from interfering with your clipboard or block your ability to copy and paste.

If you use Google Chrome, you can install the following browser extension which does the same thing:
