Sinead O'Connor covering Mother...

(a wee Joni Mitchell bonus after that too)

Doesn't compare to Mr Young, but I do love Ms Marling...
Who'd have thought a cover of a Disney song could be so cool?

I saw them perform this live and it totally gave me goosebumps!

My goodness, how cool is this woman??

She did the original backing vocals on the Stones' version of this...

This ^^. Women turn into quivering wrecks by simply kissing their neck

Every post here seems to be jumping to the naked stage as the place to start the teasing.......you need to rewind a bit. The best time is when sex isnt even in the offing....just approach your girl from behind, wrap your arms around her, and whisper in her ear, telling her how beautiful she is...stay close enough that she can feel your breath on her skin. When she's replying, gently nibble on her ear, only stopping to continue the conversation. Slip your hand inside her blouse, holding her, running your hands over the contours of her body. Kiss her neck. Alternate between her ear and her neck...pull her into you...tell her she smells great...by now your cock will probably be stiffening...she will be sure to feel that nestling against the small of her back. Undo the top couple of buttons of her jeans, and slip a couple of fingers in...over her panties, not under. Rub her clit with one of those fingers....still kissing her her....take your left hand and firmly run it up her body, over her left breast..caress it, play with it...press your stiff cock harder against her....run the middle finger of your right hand over her pussy lips, feeling her wetness through her panties....keep doing this until she is soaking. Then go away and make a cup of tea. Fact is, she'll be riding you like Sea Biscuit before you get anywhere near that kettle.

As the past diminishes,
Much now forgotten.

I'm a huge boot whore. Love them. I also have a few pics in boots in my image gallery. Heels also, but no flip flops.

Yes, but you do love those Crocs, huh??

I also confess to being a bit of a boot whore... I just love the way they make my legs look...

Can someone make Gav aware of this please. He doesn't always get time to read the forums.

I pinged him to let him know x

I've not even heard of this!!
Can't wait to seek it out.

Thanks DD!

Keep the voting as it is. But maybe fix the comment box when a comment is required to vote. It does not work very well. It often doesn't post at all and you can't retype a typo.

I am thinking of not voting at all anymore on any stories that require that.

Unless it's for a friend or a story that really blew me away, I tend to not vote when there is a forced comment. I just don't like it and, if I'm on my phone and the forced comment box comes up, it's a pain in the ass - it's difficult to select on my screen and honestly, I tend to just head to another page without voting or commenting...
Sometimes a writer will publish more than one story within 24 hours - in that case, the second story won't go 'live' or onto the front page until 24 hours have passed - to keep any one author from having loads of stories on the front page at the same time, which would be unfair to other contributors (but if you are following them, you will still get a PM)

Also, sometimes a story might be put back in for minor edits after being approved, in which case, it won't go live until it's been approved again

Another thing that can happen is that sometimes the story may be moved to a different category - in which case the link that you get when the story is initially published won't work...

Hope that helps

x
I wish I could do more to help. It sucks to be stuck here, not really able to do anything else but talk.

I just read this interesting little pinion piece which I think ties in nicely with the gentleman's charter...

Why Men Aren't Really Men Anymore

Written by a man BTW.

Here's a quote from the piece:

There was once a time when men used to be real men. When they dressed with style, when they had a certain honor code they followed that involved treating not only their elders and each other with respect, but women alike. Unfortunately, those days are far- gone — a thing of the past. What we have now is… to be quite honest, I’m not sure.

There are of course certain men out there who still have their affairs in order, but we are few in number. What people are most often subject to is the company of boys who are refusing to grow up and man up — boys who prefer to play with their toys than to do their part in bettering society, the human race and the world as a whole. These poor excuses for men have the bodies of adults and the mentalities, as well as the social outlook of toddlers. Horny toddlers, but toddlers nonetheless.

I just thought it was interesting...

Always at the back of my mind, I imagine a spider might scuttle up onto my hand lol

Alice Cooper - "Billion Dollar Babies"
I'm pretty sure I can still sing every lyric on the album.

Oh, and don't forget 8-tracks! I think I wore out some Earth, Wind, and Fire and the Eagles.

Ha ha, how funny! I was just about to edit my post above to mention 8-tracks!!

My dad made me one up with songs from Disney movies and also the muppet show!!

So funny...

Mine only knows what a cassetee is because we still have a few around the house that we play occasionally. He has never actually heard vinyl played, though I've shown him a record player before in a store and he's seen vinyl records in *sob* museums.

He's not hugely into music and I suspect that he'll be a downloader if he does get into it.

I got funny looks from my two when I mentioned a jukebox - I had to explain that it was like a GIANT ipod that you put money in to play a vinyl record, or later, CD...

Honestly, they looked at me as though I was mad

Funnily, one of my sisters recently bought her first car and the stereo in it is a cassette deck - I gave her a load of old mix cassettes I'd made up (some from almost 30 years ago) I had quite the trip down memory lane, listening to them before I passed them on to her!
The first I ever bought with my own money was either Stand And Deliver, by Adam and the Ants, or Embarrassment by Madness - on 7" vinyl.

I can't remember which came first, I may even have bought them both on the same day - There was something really exciting about handing over your money and rushing home to play them on a record player...

My first album was Absolutely by Madness (I think) but I also bought a few on cassette as well..

Aaaah, those were the days - you had to save up and wait until the weekend before you could get to the record shop to buy them... Not like now when you can just download them instantly.

I sometimes used to listen to the Top 40 on the radio on a Sunday night at my great-grandparents' house and record my favourite songs onto a cassette to listen to through the week. I'd play it back, trying to ignore the annoying DJ's voice as he introduced the next track!!

Changed days indeed - my kids would have a hard time understanding that...

I think that my first CD was Life's Too Good, by The Sugarcubes, but I listened to a lot of them as my parents had a pretty decent collection by that time...
