I have canned many stories that I feel just aren't any good. If I feel it is not as good as the last few things I have published I won't post it. Yeah, technically, it would get accepted and posted on the site. It would get views and votes but what is the point of that besides getting some kind of weird ego boost? It's lame.

People actually tell me that they like them. They are simple to read. I know you say they are childish or juvenile but a lot of the other poems you need to pull out dictionaries to even find out what they are talking about.
I think what may be one man's garbage can be another man's treasure. That is why its a reader's decision what they like.
