I can't see how either position is likely.
The liquid has to be coming from somewhere. The rate at which glands can excrete saliva, lubricant etc is pretty slow. The liquid can only come from the capillary system after all.
So if the squirt is not coming from the bladder, there is a whole new physiological mechanism involved. But finding actual real academic papers on the phenomena is petty hard. Is nobody studying it?
Most likely what is happening is that the wires are getting crossed causing the bladder sphincter to let go.
