Honestly though, if someone doesn't like the category, don't write or read in it. It seems a lot of people think it would be a truly good category to write in. It could even possibly inspire some writers to write who haven't in a while, or bring in new members. Those are both huge pluses to add a category.
And for those of us who have the Omnium badge, if we manged to write in every other category, we can do this one too. It's not like we all quit writing. We're all still very active. If this isn't your cup of tea, then don't write in it and lose the badge. *Shrugs* It's as simple as that.

Yep, and so many people don't seem to understand. Even like simple things, because of my trust issues with people, I have a hard time letting them know even the most basic things. People I've known online for years don't even know my name or what I look like. It terrifies me to share those things. I've had people hurt me in some pretty major ways because I thought I could trust them. Now it takes a whole lot for me to share such things.
People like me take a little extra work to be friends with and even date, because I am so different. But, I can't help that and that's just the way that it is.

It's so weird to me that so many people are voting no. Being vocally opposed to a new category is weird to me too. Like, how does it affect you really? What hardship is going to come to your life if a new category is added? Some people might be inspired by a revenge category to write something interesting and tense to read. Why would you be opposed to that? Just seems bitter and very odd. It really doesn't affect anyone negatively. It's not like it's some way-out there category either. It's revenge, pretty big theme in all mediums of storytelling that dictates the entire plot and motivation of characters.
Thank you! This is what I'm saying. No one is going to make anyone else read in this category if they don't want to read in it. There are some categories some people won't touch with a ten foot pole. This one is pretty tame compared to some. I think Jack said it best though.
