Couldn't get into my S.O. making it with another man, but with another woman, that's a different story as long as I'm included. She had a very brief "fling" with another woman about 12 years ago & it's a real turn on to hear about it . Iceman, do you happen to know me & my S.O.? I was married for 38 years then divorced. I had been friends with a woman for over 10 years at that time. Her husband was a good friend of mine also.Sadly he died. My friendly relationship with his wife now widow had always been just that . Friendly only. I never ever thought of her in any kind of a sexual way. He was my friend & I would never even think of any of my friends wives that way. No true friend does. After a period of time our friendship grew. Still platonic & with no intentions otherwise. Then guess what happened? Through no control of our own somehow a fire was starting to build. Seems as if we realized at about the same time that the fire was growing and we couldn't do anything about it. First we were in denial about it. Then acceptance. And it just blows my mind that your essay or whatever it should be called was written for us. Every word, sentence, paragraph is a description of our relationship. This could not have been written by a person who had not had a fire built around them & if that is the case I hope that it is still flaming out of sight. I would like to have permission to print this essay just for the two of us. Personal only. If you have a problem with that then i can respect your decision with no ill feelings at all. We are proud just to have found it . Thanks

Indeed,a person that threatens suicide to a group of people or to one person for that matter could actually be a cry for help. Desperate to talk to someone. A friendly, encouraging conversation could be all it to save their life; for that day anyhow. If they are hell bent on doing it than nothing is going to stop them. Usually the ones contemplating suicide don't talk about it. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. And it's their loved that are left to pick up the pieces both figuratively & literally.

I guess so far that i'm in the minority. I grew up in the the 60's & 70's so rock & roll was my thing. Now it's called Classic Rock. I was fortunate enough during that era to see a lot of live shows. Led Zep.., Rolling Stones. Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd/ Z.Z. Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd (original group) I could go on for quite some time. Don't think I paid over $10.00 for a ticket to any of these venues. In 1974 (I think) went to a 3 day outdoor concert in Sedalia, Missouri U.S.A. Over 100,000 people there. Practically shut the whole town down. If I tried to describe what was going on there most people would probably doubt my word. Anyhow I have managed to get off the subject & probably bore most of you with what you would consider worthless information. While I'll never forget the music of that era, I am now and have been for the past 10 or 12 years listening to the Blues. Not so much the earlier stuff but from around 50s, 60.s thru the present day " Electric Blues" Chicago Blues,etc. While it brings back great memories to hear "Sympathy For The Devil', "Stairway To Heaven"," Needle & The Spoon" & still do on occasion, I can put on some good Blues & my whole attitude changes for the better. The Blues surely do not give me the blues. Quite the opposite. Ever get a chance to check out Albert King's "I'll Play The Blues For You", Buddy Guy doing "Damn Right I Got The Blues" or maybe "Tin Pan Alley" with Stevie Ray Vaughan doing what he does (did) best . So many other great songs I couldn't even try to pick one out. And no, I don't play any kind of musical instrument but I do fairly well with my Bose sound system. If you read this whole post then I must apologize for dragging you through all of it
