As long as we're hitting some last words... "I'm not frightened. It's just that I will miss you all so much." These would have been very sweet last words from the great writer Roald Dahl... except that's when the nurse stabbed him with the needle full of morphine. So instead his last words were, "Ow! Fuck!"
Had to write an essay about how alcohol was evil to stop from getting kicked out of the Dare program because a bunch of us were going to get kicked out for having Binaca mint spray which contained alcohol at grade school. You know, obviously we were all going to get plastered off of a few sprays on the tongue.

Very, cooked in some high-end professional kitchens. Tried a lot of cool world cuisines. A lot of very strange things. I only shy away from foods that I think are cruel or some animals I find to be hyper-intelligent and feel morally questionable about eating. Like octopus, which I used to really like.
What is the strangest thing you've eaten? (Food, you lush people. Food)
Way it’s supposed to be pronounced as long as I don’t need to do some unfamiliar linguistic tricks, like rolling ‘r’s. Also refuse to apply any attempt at an accent as I’m so bad at them that it sounds like I’m mocking your culture by trying.
Ever work in a place where English was not the first language?
Yup. When I was 32 I was carded for NyQuil. Was angry growing up with a baby face but seems like a long term payoff. People also think my older son is my brother.
Ever troll online? And I mean the old school definition, where you are more like a merry trickster. Not like how the news relabeled the term for bully or how old republicans call people trolls because they cite scientific articles.
I really hate when the news announces ‘a new study shows’ and then states an obvious issue like it’s brand new to everyone.
Example from today: “A New Study Shows Oil Companies Release a lot more water pollution near communities of color.”
No shit?! You mean you needed a study for that? For the exact thing Indigenous, Latino, and Black communities have been saying for the past 60 years? You needed a study to find out oil companies will build a longer pipe to avoid a white community and just dump polluted water directly into the water supply of a poor community?
Need a study to see that pipelines specifically are pushed through reservation land despite all the protests and reports that they have been destroying the food and water supplies and natural habitats?
The sheer full that something isn’t a fact till a white team of scientists do a study is infuriating. Almost as infuriating as the fact that even with the new study this will disappear from the headlines and no one will do anything about the obvious illegal dumping of toxic sludge into our water.
