Oh damn! That is my second favorite place to stick it.

That is just wrong! And kinda gross..(cringes) Now, ear nibbling is ok.

Rats! Foiled again!

You have fallen victim to my EVIL PLANS! (wicked laughter!)

I seem to have born without one. Maybe I can get disability for that condition.

I'm pretty sure that's not a qualified disability...

Whether I struggle with sarcasm or not, why would anyone take what I posted personally?

I think Noll is a Master Sarcaster (hehehehehe)

Hope for given name, and curious for nik name

Then would curious not begin with a "k"? or Jake13958 be Jac13958
I was at work, and at the time I was dating a woman who was obsessed with saying and hearing 'I love you' every time we talked on the phone, especially before hanging up. I'm more the "it should be a given that I love you" if I say it every so often. Ive never been the touchy feely emotionally needy clingy type. Anyway, I was so used to saying "Okay, bye, I love you" that I said it to my coworker.

Rob; Ok, bye Lynda
Me; bye, I love you

****awkward silence...crickets....*****

Rob: I...love you, too....Lynda

Me; can't speak, to embarrassed....

Ugh! I think to this day he thinks I was in love with him! Argh!

i concur with those wanting to keep members' voting stats private. making them public would put targets on readers' backs. overly ambitious authors could court those who score high in their genres - and block those who score low. voter apathy is rampant here; don't add another obstacle.

All kidding aside, this is a good idea. I think people are afraid to vote how they really want to, because of fear of reprisal or getting blocked. Maybe the fact that someone has voted on a story should be left out of the timeline.

A drop down menu of your friends to make it easier to send messages. The way it is now you have to type each name in. Be nice if it was set up like the way we set who can see our image galleries where you can select from your friends list.

I really like this one. Great idea

A Visible World Clock

And this, too! I can see a problem of where to put it, however. Maybe the time zone could be on our profiles?
I was going to post something, but then I read the post above mine, and it sums everything up so beautifully.

For tea with one sugar and milk, or better still a rare rump steak with chips (fries) and breaded onion rings and a peppercorn sauce, I will friend anyone smile.

Okay, I'd love to offer you some yankee pot roast heart I hope that will do the trick. I do love a good steak, however. I drink coffee with vanilla creamer., but I can brew a mean cup of earl grey....

I believe there may be quite some of us on here who face this dilemma. We chose our friends carefully, dont add someone just for the sake of increasing the friend count, as on other social networking platforms. Talk to a select, time-trusted friends with whom we share our joys and sorrows. But after a while, we like to befriend new people who share similar tastes and/ or at least appreciate our interests, in general. (Sometimes we are to be blamed for it, some of us are not good at introductions, even shy.) After a while we become aware that it has become kinda difficult to befriend new, decent people. Hence this thread. Let your profile aid people in deciding whether to befriend you. Wish you luck!

I LOVE this thread, and have often thought 'out of the over 300,000 people here, only a select few are on the forums (Simar! We miss you!!) I'd absolutely love to meet more people, come one, come all so to speak.

This is what the Holidays are all about. Love. A universal, don't have to be Christian kind of thing. Thanks for posting! Please check your in box, because I'd love to add you as a friend if you'll accept me ;-)

I am new to the forums, tried the chat rooms for the first few day with some good and some bad experiences, but only take the good ones, one good is always the best. I think i like the idea of meeting people through the forums, no pressure here, can read each others profiles and see if you have things in common first. I can be a little shy at first, mainly not sure what to say as people are here for different things. For me personally i want to meet new people, chat get to know them, have a giggle and silliness and find a few great friends a long the long smile i am a very open and honest simple girl, what you see is what you get with me :)

You just joined on the 10th? Welcome! You've come to the right place for friends. Beware bullies, some people find it simply entertaining to belittle others, but ignore them. For the most part, you can find some great conversation and fun games.

Don't have anything on my wall yet, but I'd actually kind of prefer pictures of women (bring them on!!). I personally like my romantic and sexual relationships to be with men, but I think female bodies are beautiful. But judging by the mixed reactions here, I guess it's probably best to ask what your friends like before posting?

I usually go with their orientation, and post accordingly. You can't go wrong that way, no need to ask ;-)
It completely depends on the story, and how connected to the characters I am. I hate it when the words don't just flow, I'm always worried those that someone will thing "well, she's used that same scenario so many times," etc....yeah, I sometimes find it very difficult

I need to make a change to my original answer.

I was thinking the same thing, and it is why I was compelled to ask. I really don't mind, however, putting male nudes on my straight girlfriends walls.
